Amazing atmosphere the food was unexpected for sushi in the sunshine state. Everything was perfect i had one roll with a light curry drizzle and don't hang me yet it was a surprise of flavor highly recommend this place

Absolutely love Hagaya! I have ordered online a few times and have always had a good experience. The food is always fresh and delicious, it's always ready within the 20 minute estimated pick up time and the staff is always friendly.

I do not appreciate the fact that, like others, I was talked down by the manager just because I prefer leaving a cash tip. The food is not even good. Hibachi has better sushi. They are rude and condescending. The only good thing about this place is its atmosphere.

Rude service and bland sushi :( I’ve been here one time before and it was okay at best. The atmosphere is really nice. The second time I decided to pay with a cash tip so I chose the “no tip” option. The manager proceeded to bring our receipt to the table and ask why no tip. I was shocked! He was basically berating us for choosing the no tip on the kiosk. It made me not want to give one at all. I’ve never experienced a place do this before. They delivered the food to our table with no words and my date and I were soured by the service. Really sad considering how excited I was to take my date there. The sushi was bland so that made it even worse. We walked out and went to Ichiban instead where I knew there would be good sushi. I hate being a karen and writing a bad review but like…. who does that…. there’s not even an option for cash tip on the kiosk so you’re just going to assume I’d leave none? We pour our own drinks anyways so I wonder who it would go to other than the two behind in the kitchen making the food. Will not come here again yikes
Went in with a group of friends, two did not tip at the kiosk as they were planning on leaving cash tips. After everyone else’s food had came out the male working came and sat at our table asking if they still wanted to eat there; they said yes and the guy said well you didn’t tip so do you want to eat here or not, and again they said they were still wishing to eat there and after another 20 minutes they got their food. There was no waitress or waiter; they had a kiosk where you ordered and a pitcher of water on the table, but they assumed they deserved a tip before we were even given food. Other than that, the food was great, but we were deeply uncomfortable after that encounter.

The atmosphere was astonishing, I love the detail put in to their restaurant, the tree and decor are absolutely breathtaking :) the food is phenomenal, the service is great, and the staff is super friendly too! All in all, one of the best places I've been to in town :)

We got pork gyoza, volcano roll, samurai roll, and beef ramen. Each item was so delicious. Bring your appetite because the serving sizes are large. We split the bowl of ramen and the two sushi rolls, it was still a lot of food.
The atmosphere is very authentic and unique, definitely an enjoyable experience. They make your meal literally feet from your table. Each booth seating is completely enclosed making you feel like you are having a private dining experience.
The restaurant is in the heart of the downtown district and near shopping so very conveniently located to shopping and the college campus.
