Simple Simon's Pizza is a restaurant offering fantastic food and amazing customer service in a friendly environment. It is located in downtown Emporia, Kansas, inside the Axe Shedd at 616 Commercial Street. The food is delicious, full of flavor, and does not disappoint. The pizza is a good pie with plenty of toppings, a nice amount of sauce, and a crust that is just right with the perfect amount of garlic buttery flavor. It is not overdone.
The restaurant is known for its amazing calzone, which is the best ever had, featuring amazing sauce and the perfect amount of garlic butter over the crust. The Stromboli, jalapeño bread, wings, oven baked sandwiches, and breadsticks are also delicious. The new Simple Simon's Pizza Lunch Buffet is available from 11AM through 2PM Wednesday through Sunday. The very delicious buffet includes items like Pepperoni Pizza, Sausage Pizza, Beef and Bacon Pizza, calzone, breadsticks, and cinnamon desert sticks. It can make any menu item available except for cookies and wings, which can still be purchased. Alpine and Ranch sauce, crushed red pepper packets, and Parmesan cheese packets are available. The buffet is a definite value and perfect for college students, local workers, or anyone craving pizza.
Service is great, easy, fast, and welcoming with smiling faces. The atmosphere is comfortable and engaging with a digital jukebox. Seating is plentiful with table cloth covered tables and taller stools. Parking is easy to find. For drinks, there are Coke products with free refills and alcohol in cans. All menu items are also available for take-out or delivery. Business hours are Tuesday 3-10PM, Wednesday and Thursday 11AM-10PM, Friday and Saturday 11AM-12AM, and Sunday 11AM-8PM. It is closed Monday. Simple Simon's Pizza is a home run and highly recommended.
