We stopped in on a Saturday in August. Great service. We had the Doyle beef Cheeseburger and fries. It was perfectly grilled, the way Kansas beef should be. We also had a beer which was reasonably priced. Also had the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake and 2 brewed coffees. Everything was great food wise. The ladies were kind and prompt with service. While we waited in our food we walked around, enjoying our beers, reading all the Rich History they had posted in the beautiful historic building.

Visited the Brandin’ Iron going back home to KC. Went in with my daughter and the waitress was so nice and I felt comfortable letting her walk around looking at the antiques. Great place off the path! Didn’t make me feel like an outsider. INCREDIBLE cake too!

Wow! This place is a must try. Pro tip: MAKE RESERVATIONS. This restaurant is in a small town, but it gets busy because it is so good!
I took my wife for her birthday and she was impressed (this doesn't happen easily).
We had the fried green beans, highly recommend, mac and cheese with brisket burnt ends (amazing), the brisket sliders and a side of garlic potatoes.
This was on top of a delicious Old Fashion for me and Prairie Punch for the Mrs.
We will definitely drive the 45 minutes for this place.

my wife and I got the prime rib and it was good, but the sides were below average. That might seem petty, but for premium prices I expect premium product. Waitress was friendly, but no overly helpful. All and all average, but expensive.

Excellent food. I had the salmon with potatoes and a salad. The salmon was excellent with a very rich flavor. There was some garlic butter provided for the rolls as well that was delectable.

The old west decor fits right in with the historic building they are located in. The wait staff was pleasant and the prompt service and attention to detail was outstanding. We ordered prime rib which was prepared exactly as requested. It was delicious. We all agreed the meal and dessert definitely was worthy of an excellent rating. Worth the drive to Florence.

Best atmosphere with authentic western decorations that capture the flint hills in the early 1900's. The staff is remarkable along with the chef. Definitely recommend Flatbread pizza, it comes with a Signature sauce that will leave you craving more. Restaurant is very well laid out and also easily accessible for folks in wheelchairs.
