Ordered a medium steak ended up with a purple raw steak. Waitress took so long to show up. That I gave up and asked another for the manager luckily they comped the steak.

Britney T. was my waitress and she did exceptionally well for me. Asked about the way I wanted to be served, was checking on me regularly, let me know if she needed a moment with others, very good!I ordered 2 appetizers one to go. The steak was a little done for a medium to me but was acceptable.I was just in Garden to pick up a bike.I'll return sometime and will know where to eat.Thanks!!!

It was not busy, I was seated immediately. Friendly service- offered me drink specials to start. Also offered appetizers. I ordered the salmon and would recommend to others if you like salmon. It was done well and melted in the mouth. I had a side of onion rings which were crispy hot and stayed crispy to the end unlike some. Server was extremely attentive but unobtrusive which I appreciated. Restaurant was clean and every direction I looked had a tv with sports of some kind playing. Did not care for the country music playing over the speakers but that’s just my taste in music. Was not too loud. I’d recommend this restaurant for a delicious well served meal.

We stopped in on our way to Colorado about 9 pm for the soup and salad. Food was good but service was on the slower side and the restaurant was messy. Our server was sweet. Needing gluten free it was nice to find a soup that we could enjoy. Not a must go back but would stop again if needing something light late.

It's always fun coming to Applebee's. We enjoyed our time. The service was subpar when we went last, but they were also heavily booked and had huge tables. The wait staff is attentive when they come, though. The food was good but it's been better, but again, they had two very big tables when we went so they were probably rushed. I do love the lighting here. It's bright enough you can see, especially at your own table. But not so bright it hurts your eyes. It's just a weird observation I have about the place, but oftentimes I'll go somewhere and can't even see those next to me, this felt nice and calm.Parking: Plenty of spots, but the space between them, as in from one side to another not between the the two yellow lines is rather tight.Kid-friendliness: I mean there were children, toddlers, and a baby when we went. They enjoyed themselves and behaved. We barely even noticed they were there. The baby was literally sharing a booth side with us and we barely noticed.

We were there in early evening, so the waiters/kitchen were not as swamped as at peak attendance.Typical Applebees, food is good enough. We usually stick w/the appetizer platter and the Perfect Marguarita, which has shrunk considerably since I/We started stopping at Applebees. :/

Garden City Applebee’s is awesome food was good it was clean and my husband started choking and the manager came up and gave him the Heimlich maneuver and the chicken came out Derek the manager, save my husband’s life.
