El Conquistador Restaurant

Lady sat a dustpan on the counter where drinks where being made. She was very rude and never refilled our drinks or chips. Food was cold when it came out of the kitchen.

Place has gone way down hill and the price just keeps skyrocketing. Plus, the serving sizes are getting smaller. Foods easy to warm up and eat for leftovers. Special cheese dip is great when they don't put in 75% meat and 20% cheese (rest is air (sometimes)). Hot sauce is just that hot but still amazing. Mild sauce is basically ketchup but I never use it either way. Sauce on the enchiladas now tastes like spaghettos and is twice the price. Very $$$$$.

A great local restaurant with pleasant service and tasty Mexican meals!

Service was great! Very friendly, competent, & helpful. We were 12 people and everything went perfectly. Everyone got their food at the same time and every drink stayed topped off.

We are from Oklahoma and this place rates pretty high on my scale for Mexican food

Has potential, But quality/prep of ingredients are awful so the entire meal suffers. Example: shiny processed cheese is great for grilled cheese sandwiches but not for fajitas or any dish that ordered by someone older than 10yrs old. Using stale store bought chips instead of buying corn tortillas and frying them fresh yourselves is the worst. Someone should be fired for that foul up. These are extremely easy and manageable correction but what really hurts when a customer informs employees that their meal has obvious flaws due to the product not the service.then told that they could care less about their customer satisfaction is just ...sad

Got food poisoning from here TWICE. The last time we went, we ordered our food to go. We ended up with half of someone else's order and vice versa. We brought half the order back that was wrong and so did the other customer, who was very dirty from working construction, and who had already opened the food containers. The guy at the counter goes, "There you go!" And pointed to the box that had already left the building, made it to someone else's car, and had been opened. We threw it away, ate the half that was right, got sick again, and never went back.

The smell of sewage and food isn't as good as it used to be. Great service, it is very clean restaurant.

Love the warm hometown feeling of the Conquistador. Love the exterior mural as well. It's worth preserving.

We have been there twice now and both times the food and the service was great . Eddie the owner is super nice guy we stood and talked to him for awhile and we know some of the same people he makes a good mango strawberry margarita
