Ninja Sushi & Steak House

The food was ok a little on the salty side. My lobster tail was overcooked.

Walter was a great waiter, so kind and attentive. The service was so fast, probably the fastest dining experience I’ve had (in a good way!) and the food was really delicious and only $27 for two people - a sushi roll, appetizer and lunch entree

Owners young boy that works in there is really good at forgetting to put in 2 go orders it's his 4th time missing up

I recently visited Ninja’s and was impressed by how friendly the staff was. They really made me feel welcome. However, I overheard an employee mention that tips on online orders no longer go to them, which is quite concerning. It’s disappointing to think that their hard work isn’t being recognized in that way. I hope management can address this issue, as the team deserves to be rewarded for their service. Overall, a pleasant experience, but I feel strongly about the tipping situation.

They no longer do the Hibachi grill show....shouldn't advertise a grill that hasn't been used in a couple of years

We love coming here, the staff is always friendly and remembers us. Update, the decor is lacking but the staff and food are definitely worth the trip!

Went to eat here yesterday 5/25/24. Food was great, atmosphere great as well. Service wasn’t the greatest. The older lady who served us changed the amount of her tip n paid herself more then what we left her. Not on the restaurant, I know, but still pretty crappy.

The food was exceptional—delicious and satisfying. Although the wait time was a bit long, it was definitely worth it. I’d rate it a 10/10 and can't wait to try it again.

Not good. Figured I’d give this place a try
on a recent visit to the GCK. After reading all the positive reviews, especially the one that said they were better than Osaka, I was expecting something more. Yes, the prices are very reasonable but the place is generally “run down”. Even the menus are tattered. I ordered the Yakisoba Shrimp and it was probably the worst Yakisoba I’ve ever had anywhere. The shrimp and vegetables were way overcooked and the noodles were more like spaghetti. Will not be dining here again.

Really great food! I wish our waitress had checked on us more, but definitely good service. I definitely recommend the edamame and chicken teriyaki!

We were told we could be seated anywhere we wanted, chose the booth closest to the door cause we have a 5 month old. They took our drink order really fast, however my son said the iced tea tasted like pool water so we ordered another Dr. Pepper. We got our onion soup which was good and shortly came the appetizers: 2 orders of gyoza and 1 order of spring rolls. both tasted okay however the spring rolls didn't have much flavor aside from the dipping sauce. our main food came out: 2 orders of chicken teriyaki bento and chicken and steak teppanyaki, both looked good but my kids said it was way too black peppery. I ordered the deluxe sushi, I asked what kind was it, "server" said it was whatever the chef gives and an order of the Cind roll. The Cind roll was okay just super oily. The deluxe sushi... the fish and shrimp were all old, smelled and tasted bad. the Wasabi was brown, not green like a fresh one would look and the ginger was dry and stuck to the Wasabi. as if they prepped the both of them together a few days ago and left it in the fridge. I ate 2 of the shrimp and spat out what i think mightve been whitefish/ hamachi fish. I ate all the Cind roll because it was cooked and I was hungry (we had just drove 3 hours to Kansas for a 4 hour college tour). The "servers" never came to refill our drinks, my husband drank from my cup. We decided to just get our food to go. we wrapped up the kids and husband's plate except for my sushi. the "server" saw that I didn't pack mine and asked if I wanted a box, I said no. she had the look of "they didn't like their food". they did ask if everything was okay, if we needed anything early on during the meal but after having spat out my sushi, I was over it. We paid $116 for our meal and I'm kind of bitter about it. I didn't want to talk to staff about any of it because it wasn't worth my effort if they weren't putting in any effort in the food they were serving. my family and I are not picky eaters and enjoy asian cuisine as we are originally from guam and have been blessed to have tried all kinds of food, Japanese being our favorite kind. So I know what fresh fish smells, looks, and tastes like and what I had was definitely not it. I'd wish for them to audit themselves on what they can improve on. The food definitely needs to be redone. The menus could be updated (they were torn, taped up and even sticky). the dishes they use for the bento boxes could be changed to new ones, they were all scratched up and chipped. The bathroom door doesn't even lock/ close all the way and the toilet lid/ seat even fell off. The logo out front has missing letters. We chose this restaurant because we missed asian cuisine and saw that they had good ratings. I have worked in the food industry and we had strict guidelines and random audits that ensured our customers they were getting great service, a clean environment and safe, appetizing food. I will not be dining there again and will not recommend that place to anyone.
