Food is absolutely horrendous never have I had Mexican food this bad. Expensive and food that was reheated in microwave with loads of cheese. Can’t believe the so called chef would serve something this bad and not be ashamed of himself

This was our first trip to La Caretta. Went for a late lunch and had an enjoyable experience. Sam was our waiter. He has been there for 10 years which says something about the place IMHO. We will be back.

Pros:(1) Prices are very reasonable (they have a lunch menu on Saturday as well)(2) They’ve got a fried taco as a menu optionCons:(1) Probably is noisy during lunch/supper rushes due to lack of ceiling insulation(2) Salsa is flavorful and fairly good, but is too thin (sorta is like a cold tasty tomato soup)

Food was not good at all compared to other Mexican restaurants the side plate of beans, rice, pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole was very small. The fajitas tasted like they were re-heated from being freezer burnt. Very disappointed I will not be going back.

Great Service by Mauel our waiter. Biigest selection of Chimichangas I've ever seen in a Mexican Restaurant. Food was excellent, including the Enchiladas, ordered by members of my dinner party. Loved the warm chips and the salsa to eat them with. Great lo-key, down home atmoshere. Great place for a Business lunch or dinner. Wish this restaurant was in my hometown of Dallas.
