Went up there at 3pm on a Saturday, per Google and their website they should be open, but closed up tight. Not the first time either.

We tried Moose’s BBQ for the first time today. We loved it!!! I had the pulled pork and burnt ends with cole slaw and baked beans. The meat was tender and flavorful, the beans had a little heat at the end, it was good! Oh, I can’t leave out the cowboy bites, OMG! If you’re in Gardner, and you’re in the mood for BBQ, this is your place, no need to leave town. The only down side is their hours. Th-Sat 11a-7p. We will be back!

Overall, good food to eat. Had polish and jalapeño sausage, brisket, and burnt ends all was good. My only issue was the fries. They were a little underdone and not crispy at all.

Ermagerd! Tried this place for the first time and I am deeply impressed! Lived here for going on 3 years now and been looking for some good BBQ. I just found it!!! I have gone all over, even to Missouri looking for someone who can smoke some meat to my liking. I even went to them expensive restaurants (wasn't pleased) but DAAAAAMN! This place hit the spot. Smelled the smoker from around the corner. We were planning on going to Luchadors Mexican place next door (haven't tried it yet). But because the smell alone, we changed our minds to try the Moose's BBQ truck. Hubby, kids and I spent nearly $98 (w/tip) because we orderrd a lot of food to try. Just like most BBQ places, the price is high (comes with the times) but it was definitely worth it! I got the XL Pulled Pork Baked potato and I was not expecting SOOOO much food. Even ordered me the jalapeno cream cheese & corn appetizer because I didn't know how big of a portion it was going to be. Trust me, I wanted to, but I couldn't finish it. I picked some of my husband's pulled brisket, kids had a pulled pork sandwich. Even tried me some of their cheese curds. I am drooling thinking about the leftovers I have for tomorrow...haha
I really can't explain how much I wanna rave about this place and how AMAZING the food was. I hope you guys keep up the amazing food. Didn't expect it, highly impressed. As an added benefit: I don't have to drive far for some REALLY good BBQ.
Thank you!
Also, if anyone hasn't tried this place...I hope you do!...

Right off the start I think the guy taking our order picking his butt. And. for a $10 sandwich in a $2 Sandwich box was pretty disappointing you could not pick it up to eat it so you was forced to eat it with a fork and I don't know who said cut the meat is a little bitty squares I guess that made and easier to eat your overpriced barbecue. $20 for two very small sandwiches nothing with it not a pickle no fries not nothing them things was about the size of a slider . And the inside their trailer look dirty probably needs a trip from the health inspector. The guy taking the order acted like he was doing you a favor.

I got the 2 meat platter(pork and beef) and 2 sides ( mac&cheese and cheesey potatoes)and there was a ton of food. For a starter I got the cowboy bites and they were awesome. Only complaint I have is the beef was a little salty for my taste.

Fantastic bbq today! Stopped for Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage and Burnt Ends and wow those were great! Juicy, tender, Smokey flavor and everything else.

We will be back! This place needs a standing restaurant as it beats a lot of the other smaller bbq joints in Joco by a mile.

Pulled Pork is the best, the pulled pork sausage sandwich is fantastic, coleslaw and Potatoe Salad so so. The beans way to spicily hot, would like them with more of smoked flavor. Owner must of having a bad day when we were there.
Not super friendly when we came up to the window to place our order. Will go back and would recommend it to everyone.

You have to try their loaded baked potato. It has to be over 3lb. I don't know where they find potatoes the size of footballs but they do. The ribs were excellent and very good Mac n cheese. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting BBQ.
