Food was great, ordered a bacon, ham and sausage omelette and received a ham and cheese omelette. Still good but the ham and cheese scramble, essentially what I got, was five dollars cheaper. Food great, Service great, but the three percent increase in price for using a card is ridiculous. Credit card transaction fees are pennies on the dollar. So not only are guests paying your transaction fees you are making profit off of card use as well. Your menu prices more than cover transaction fees.

We've been here a few times and it's been so good every time. We're there around brunch time. The French Dip was delicious, the skillet was so yummy, and the hash is good, although the portion was a bit small for my hubby. The service is always friendly and efficient. Small, cute and clean. We enjoy watching Family Feud while we eat. I had hot tea today and it was perfect on this chilly, rainy morning. I was leery of the biscuits and gravy. Usually white gravy tastes like flour to me, but it was really good! I've noticed they have many regular customers here. We definitely recommend this little Gardner gem!

Let's start with what you see when you pull up. It needs a lot of love on the outside; there is rotting trim, paint looks drab and chipping, and when you first approach, it is a solid wood door with a handwritten note on the door. I half thought we would walk in and there would be smoking in the place (there isn't). Fairly clean on the inside, and the food was pretty darn good, as was our waitress. Weirdly, I noticed that everyone's coffee cup was completely different, like the owner went to local garage sales and picked up coffee cups to use. Maybe what makes them different, but it was just noticeable. Overall, this is a place that, if you saw it from the street, you would drive right by and go down the road to something else, but what matters is service and quality of food, and it is good.

Feels like a place where old men and old women gather together to talk about the weather, amongst other things, nice, friendly atmosphere

A very good breakfast diner with a very typical menu. I had eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. Also on the menu are omelets, skillet, biscuits and gravy, was there on a week day so the place was empty for a 9 o'clock breakfast. I can see where locals would flock here on weekends. Service was good and the server friendly. You pay at the register. Not a lot of choices in Gardner, but this one is pretty good for what it is.

I am a Pie Guy. They have really good pie and it is always changing. I sit at the counter and right in front of the kitchen. The chef and team are really organized and work as a team. I am really impressed by the way they get the orders out so fast. I recommend Trails Kitchen to anyone who wants good home style cooking.
