We took an out of state friend here for our first visit & were not disappointed! We received a warm welcome upon entering and taken to our ready-for-us table. We started with a couple glasses of wine & the bruschetta which had tomatoes that tasted like they came out of the garden that day and were the star of the dish. The main courses were phenomenal and huge! If you leave hungry it's your own fault! Clearly the owners have dedicated themselves to quality and community....
Finally made it over to Bushel & a Peck for lunch and it did not disappoint! I loved the unique menu options but the food was incredible and so fresh! We will definitely be back!
We had a chicken cutlet on a hoagie roll with arugula, hoagie mayo, and provolone with a sour potato salad as well as a turkey sandwich with goat cheese, arugula & cherry balsamic spread on sourdough with home made chips and a dill pickle Cole slaw. Carrot cake “donut” for dessert.

We ate there last Friday. Everything was delicious! I had Blackened Shrimp and grits, while my husband had a barbecue platter and a craft cocktail. Generous portions of comfort food, elevated!!!
