Fantastic chicken fried steak and the gravy was smooth and delicious. You must get the slaw juice on the side for dipping. Can't wait to visit again.

Chicken pieces are small, overcooked, greasy, and just not good. We had German potato salad; it was terrible. It tasted like cold diced potatoes soaked in vinegar. The waitress was nice but not overly helpful. I would recommend you go elsewhere for a quality chicken meal.
Saturday Oct 19th about 4:30pm we stopped in on our way back from Burns KS cemetery we buried two of our family members our hearts were heavy we were tired and hungry we ordered food from the nicest waitress I believe I've ever encountered since moving here years ago after retirement, she was young blonde slender girl with the most infectious smile I believe I've ever seen her attitude and personality was one that was so uplifting , don't remember her name but she was quite beautiful, I am a former op director for a large real estate owner I know the goods when I see , she is a credit to your franchise and an example of uplifting love that is contagious ..made this old man forget his woes in this life I applaud this employee publicly for such a wonderful and pleasant personality ...she is worth her weight in gold..please if you know who I'm referring to pass on my deepest regard and thanks..respectfully Martin ..Robert and deta Franklin ks..I hand delivered a tip of 10$ to her I would have given more...

I'm afraid my story is not based on one particular visi.when I was a kid my family and I lived in Girard Kansas and my dad got paid on Friday so we would drive over to Pittsburgh to do our basic shopping.. But we would stop at Chicken Annie's of Girard's on the way out of town. First we have appetizers of onion rings and fried chicken livers.(We always got a side of cream gravy to go with the chicken livers) Then we have our delicious fried Chicken dinners.. I always got the German slaw and potato salad. Pretty brave for a kid in the 4th grade.And if my parents were okay with it I would get a side of spaghetti.. it was such a good time so many of my family lived in Girard over the years that now we still journey to Chicken Annie's of Girard to eat.. thank you for letting me give this review..
