All I can say is WOW! TWICE!!
Get your boots on and grab your partner. Dance on down to the Eastside Cafe in Girard, Kansas! You definitely will not be disappointed! I was seated as soon as I walked through the door. Within one minute I had coffee in front of me. She asked me if it was my first time here. At that point, I was busy taking photos of some homemade mini pies on the counter fresh out of the oven. They looked and smelled crazy awesome. The waitress Layla was outstanding. Within another minute. Another waitress Mandie presented me with a huge fresh baked homemade cinnamon roll. She said it was on the house?! Because I was a first timer! Another waitress, Lacy came and filled my cuppa coffee up again! This was all in the first five minutes. Everyone working was very warm and engaging.
I ordered the Eastside omelette.
With gravy on my hashbrowns. And some whole wheat toast. When the omelette came out, I was at amazed at how large it was. Talk about a loaded omelette with everything. I'm not kidding you when I say it was the bestest, baddest biggest omelette I have ever had. It was made perfectly. By the way, the place was packed when I walked in. And stayed that way until I left. I also watched them put out a togo order for 30 people in between all of this. If you have never been to this Cafe? Anytime you're around the Pittsburgh or Girard area. Treat yourself to something luscious, wonderful awesome and amazing. The whole Cafe was clean and the menu was very affordable.
The atmosphere was very relaxing and made me feel at home!
To the owner, whoever you are? Kudos to your whole team!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

P.S. The mini pies were for a wedding reception being catered later on today. They even had the bride and groom's names cut out of the crust on top the pies!❤️‍🔥👨🏼‍🍳

Went on a Sumday and the food was great. Huge portions so I suggest sharing. They have gluten free options as well.

The chicken fried steak was so tender, just right amount of mashed potatoes and gravy & a homemade dinner roll definitely filled the spot. Service was spectacular and the waitress was a charming.

Eastside cafe is a classic cafe that really gets it right in every way - great food, friendly, welcoming service, and a perfect location on the Girard square.

Simply the best cafe you'll ever find. Super clean, super fast, super friendly, and the food is super good! Their homemade bread is the best!

Delicious food and wonderful service! Our office is located in Overland Park and we've used Eastside Cafe twice now to cater lunch for meetings our company has hosted in Girard. They make it so easy for me to place an out-of-town lunch order and they're so friendly and accommodating, they go out of their way to make sure you're happy. Their chicken fried steak special with mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans and a roll is a always a hit with our meeting guests. They offer a wide variety of desserts, too! Mandy is who I've worked with there and she's always super nice! Will definitely use them again!

When we entered Girard, Kansas, at 6 a.m., we were on our way from Houston to Overland Park, KS. While driving through downtown, we noticed an open eatery, so we stopped.
The food was good and abundant: pancakes, french toast, eggs, bacon, hot chocolate, and coffee were hot and fresh. All this was enough to give five stars to EastSide Café. However, it was Amber's friendliness that blew us away. We felt welcome from the moment we stepped into the restaurant. She is one of a kind and a strong reason to go to EastSide Café.

We came here from Joplin to visit a family member in the hospital.
Stopped by east side to get a burger and suziques. Hamber was good. Were skimpy on squeaky. Waitress wasn’t too friendly. Place was so dirty.
