This was my first visit to the Goddard Starbucks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food and drink products were excellent. The seats were comfortable and the atmosphere was great. Definitely recommend the place and will certainly have a return trip soon.

Love the baristas here!!!!!!!!! I do understand the safety and HAZARDS OF NOT HAVING ENOUGH ICE TO SHAKE THE SHAKEN ESPRESSOS!!!!!!!! They make it VERY CLEAR IT IS NOT SAFE!!!!!!

Light ice is a difficult concept, apparently. Light ice is an option on the Starbucks menu but if you ask a Starbucks barista to make a drink with light ice, they argue it’s impossible or it’s unsafe. Literally, a Goddard Starbucks barista argued it’s a safety hazard to shake the espresso without ice. I then told her that I wanted ice, just not ALL ICE. She then told me it was a hazard to not put ice in the shaker with espresso. I had to again clarify that I WANTED ICE. We went round and round like this and she ended her argument telling me to ask for “less” ice and not “light” ice. Less ice and light ice are different somehow - in the fantastical world of Starbucks baristas.Today, my drink was AGAIN all ice. I pointed out the cup was full of ice- brim to bottom- to the cashier handing my drink through the window. They said they’d make it with light ice. The barista brought the drink out with NO ICE. She argued the ice had sunk to the bottom of the cup, that’s why I couldn’t see it. No joke. Apparently the density of Starbucks ice is different than ice in the real world. I’m not surprised. Real world logic doesn’t apply at Starbucks.I just can’t with some humans and most of them are Starbucks baristas.

The baristas here are great. They become familiar with their customers and most of the time know my order before I order it. They all need raises.

I was pleasantly surprised driving home that they were open today (Christmas). My kids wanted to stop so I ordered our usual (3 Trenta Strawberry Acai refreshers made with water and light ice). The person taking the order and working the drive thru was not listening (10:30am) made me repeat size again then proceeded to tell me they don't have to ability to make them with light water. I said I didn't ask for light water, I asked for light ice. She questioned if I wanted it made with water as the base. She chuckles with an attitude at my response, I proceed to tell her AGAIN that I needed three of those because again, she didn't listen and only had one on the screen. She then asked me for my name and told me to pull forward (never been asked my name in the drive thru). When I got to the window she smirks and says Bree? Takes my card with attitude, runs it inside the window (never had that happen- they usually hold it out for tip options) and then again smirks and says Merry Christmas with an attitude. Our drinks are basically pink water. They are the worse refreshers I've ever had and for over $6 a piece, it's unacceptable. I will drive to the one on Maize for now on. Hire better people with the ability to listen. I've ordered the same drink for YEARS and I've never been questioned so much. Clearly she is new and whomever made the actual drink, needs proper training because again, it was basically water. All I wanted was water instead of lemonade. Not water and a splash of strawberry acai.

Stupid that they're getting rid of hazelnut syrup. Now they can't make my drink. Won't be going back to Starbucks anymore. Used to go there 3 times at least a week. No more!

I am a fairly regular customer at this point (got to have that PSL) and I have to say they have a great team and everyone is so friendly and the coffee is always good! I specifically see Ali, Ivan, Bryson, and Cash the most and they always have a friendly face! Thank you Goddard Team!
