Chocolate cake donuts crispy outside and tender on the inside, very good chocolate frosting! The dough for the long john’s is so tender and flaky, like peeling off a piece of cotton candy! They make enough to keep customers happy until they close in the afternoon!

The family running this shop knows their way around some dough! The doughnuts are crispy and flavorful, plenty of topping choices. They also have a variety of warm sandwiches and other foods. Definitely plan to return

So hard to put into words how good these donuts are. Hands down the best donuts in the area. They have a great selection of quality food and the staff here is very friendly and lively. The building is very clean and well maintained. It's hard to find good quality any more but this place nailed it.

Bad and PUSHY customer service, NEVER going back. I tried to very clearly ask for the twisted long doughnuts and he started filling a box of blueberry glazed and EMPTY “filled doughnuts”. He had told us that they were Lemon filled, not true. My wife said to me “ it seems like the man is trying to push doughnuts on you”. The service was very very pushy, I did not ask for that many doughnuts. What seemed to be his wife was explaining to him in Philippine what we wanted and he shrugged her off even though she seemed to understand and speak better English . We could not understand what they said because they have a very heavy Philippine accent and spoke Philippine in front of us. My wife was very displeased and I was also. I just let my wife we will NEVER be going back there again. Hopefully somebody else buys them out or changes management. Until then, great bend daylight has lost a customer permanently. If you want good service and good doughnuts, go to Mitchels bakery in 1110 Main st in Great bend! Ive always had great customer service, I regret trying to find/support other business.
