This location has been closed since December of 2022. The Great Bend Post reported this on Dec 28, 2022.It was a nice enough place to get fried chicken when it was here.
Parking: Lots of places to park, given that it’s closed. A few tree branches to avoid, but easy enough to move around them.

Not surprised with Cameron owning the store, this place will not be open forever with the nasty food and rude behavior. I hope you grow up Cameron I'm younger than you and I have my life more together than you.
Update: The review I wrote four years ago is completely opposite of what this place is! This KFC is bottom of the barrel not only for KFC’s across America but the worst of all the restaurant industry in Great Bend! They can’t get anything right. The last time I tried the food tasted like chemicals and I said something. No resolve no nothing. The employee who when I asked if something was in the bag said yes and when I checked it wasn’t there said well I really don’t care. Then all the sudden a week later they want to charge for sauces that they’ve never charged for. The biscuits looked like they crumbled them before they boxed them and the chicken tasted like it’s been sitting in a warmer in the convenience store and they filled the sides only halfway up one was 3/4 at best. So sad to see one of the best places at its worst. They made the right choice when they closed it the first time.4 years ago: Love this KFC. One of the better ones in Kansas! Buffet is so fresh and employees are really friendly. One of the better places to eat in Great Bend and if it’s not on the buffet they are quick to get it for you. Just ask! ??♂️

Ordered 2 famous bowls, both had 5-7 small pieces of chicken, half container potatoes, barely any corn, no cheese, covered in gravy, and everything was cold. Went in to get another order of them, and they went in back for almost 10 minutes, laughing, doin who knows what to the food so I walked out. Losing 20$. If this is what KFC has become I will never go to another, especially the one in Great Bend Ks.

I just called kfc to make sure they were open and the person answering the phone said that they are already closed at 5:42pm due to Thanksgiving Holiday tomorrow. This place of business has very poor management skills. Every time I go in kfc the employees are different. I can see why with such poor managers. There is a problem with each visit but I keep going back because their chicken is so good.

Came in a little after 8. Sat at drive thru for 10 minutes then decided to go in. Was told they close at 7 every night even though their hours say till 10pm. (Which was a lie because I have visited after 7pm several times recently.) Was also talked to very rudely by an employee and the manager and find it very ridiculous to be closing during dinner times. Lost out on my family’s sales and 3 others who also came in to ask why they were closed. Not visiting for dinner again.
