Do not eat here the owner is dishonest. If you read previous reviews she has overcharged numerous people. She will not itemize a bill. We ordered chicken strips $7.95, side salad &9.95, two drinks (listed as $3 on menu) she said $4, ranch for the chicken strips $1, $2 for to go cups. That equals $30.95. she charged $40.98. plus I left a $5 tip (which she didn't deserve). Food was terrible chicken strips were bricks, salad is basic lettuce with a few toppings. If I could less then one star I would.

Sunday lunch buffet was amazing. The fried catfish was delicious, and they had a dessert bar! Very nice folks and just a really chill place to get off the road for a little while. So nice talking with Ruth the proprietor while I was there too. I’ll be back.

I absolutely LOVE the Crazy Mule. Ruth is the BEST. One of the best breakfasts you will find anywhere. The everything omelette is beyond compare. Seriously. Food quality is excellent, and the portions are very generous. Great service. Endearing laid back atmosphere.

Excellent restaurant for such a small town. More than substantial salad bar and everything we've had has been delicious.

I was so disappointed. A friend and I, along with my ten year old son, went about 30 minutes out of our way while travelling to go through Greensburg to eat lunch and visit the museum on our way home. I have never been so disappointed in my decision as I do this on most road trips in an attempt to support small, local communities. The service was terrible. Our waitress was rude and seemed irritated with my decision to not eat the buffet. I genuinely felt like she was so irritated, in fact, that I was scared to tell her that my chicken strips were rubbery, fries were gross or that I needed a refill. She was very pleasant to my friend but she was less than thrilled with my business for some reason. It was very strange. When I paid for mine and my son's meal, I was really surprised at the cost considering our meals were listed at under $9 each and we had one soda and a water. It came out to over $27. I just wanted out of there and didn't want to continue to be treated poorly so I unfortunately paid and left without saying a word. After reading the reviews now that I'm home, it makes sense. The waitress appears to have been the owner or something and it sounds like she may not be very welcoming to outsiders or people that do not look like her. I will not be returning. Some advice: if you're traveling to or through Greensburg, eat somewhere else.

Stopped by the Crazy Mule on our way through Kansas. Food was pretty good and the service overall was good. However, we were SIGNIFICANTLY overcharged! We had a larger group, but several of us shared a meal. When we went up to pay, we didn't realize the overcharge. After we paid, we asked for an itemized receipt and were denied one. We asked for clarification on how those who split a meal were charged and even with the additional amount for an extra plate for those who split, we estimated at least $70 overcharged.

Restaurantji Recommends
Fun atmosphere, but it was $47.00 for a bacon cheeseburger with Fries, a grilled cheese with fries for my kids and 3 drinks. And she said she didnt charge me for an extra plate because my 3yr old and 1 yr old split a meal. How much is an extra plate!? It was a little sticker shock for sure! She said it also charges for using a credit card...so maybe pay cash if you stop!

We got a chicken tender plate $9 a chicken fried steak for around $20 & a burger for $16 and 4 regular soft drinks. Our bill came out to $78 (tell me how that makes sense) . The waitress lady was awfully rude as well. I'd highly reccomended avoiding this place.

Legitimately the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger that costed me $17 and they brought out this piece of garbage meat on white bread that tasted like stale old freezer meat. The waitress looked like she wanted to punch me when I asked for anything extra. The sweet potato fries were soggy pieces of floppy slop. I love sweet potato fries and this restaurant has ruined them for me. I was having a great time with my friends and then I walked into this place and unfortunately my night took a bad turn. Do not come here, do not eat this food, do not support this business.

Absolutely a great place to stop. The best part was the service, the waiter was extremely friendly, as was the rest of the staff. I still regret not remembering his name, but I would highly reccomend to anyone in need of great food and drink! I got the Nebraska sunset, which tasted like an orange dreamscicle haha!

It all felt a bit rushed in here but then it was a busy Sunday. Food was good, but not out of this world.
