Had the toaster shut down over 20 minutes before close. I have worked at more than one subway in more than 1 state and that is not how things are done! Kinda sad couldn’t even get part of what we wanted due to toaster being off
I don’t understand why Taressa makes everything so difficult and complicated. Maybe not just her, the app isn’t great. I tried to order one of the Auntie Anne’s sidekicks on the app, and it told me it was not available, so I called the store directly. They told me I was unable to place the order over the phone, even though it only took 3 minutes to make (their words), and I had to go into the store and order it as a walk in. As per their policy. As a customer, I am trying to minimize my wait time. That’s why I tried to order it online, that’s why I tried to call it in over the phone. You want to make it as difficult as possible? You know what? Never mind.

I ordered 2 Footlongs grilled chicken on herbs and cheese bread with american cheese, pickles, lettuce, extra mayonnaise, and toasted for curbside. Instead, I got tomatoes, the wrong chicken, provolone cheese, and no mayonnaise?? I usually have dont any problems here, but the guy clearly had no idea what was going on. I ended up throwing them away because they were gross and no one else wanted them :(

Manager Teresa is the rudest person I seen. Zero customer service skills and thinks it’s funny to wait to make online orders until the customer gets there to pick it up. Do not recommend this location at all!!!

I worked there. I had to get a second job due to not getting enough hours. When I had that week of schedule juggling, trying to reconcile the overlaps, etc, I had 3 shifts that I needed covered in one week. The first two I got covered right away. The THIRD SHIFT I got someone to cover 3 DAYS before the scheduled shift and TARESSA, the MANAGER, told that person not to bother, she had it covered. Then she issued me a write up for not getting that shift covered.I don’t know if she was given that direction by upper management, like she said, and I don’t care. I had that shift covered DAYS in advance. She wanted to write me up.There’s only like, 5 people who work there. Halstead is a small town. People talk. Not just about my service, as an employee, but about her too.

As usual, my Spicy Italian Sub was prepared exactly how it was ordered and absolutely delicious.
I personally steer towards an Italian BMT, but today I’m trying the #5 Supreme Meats and it was delicious. I give Halstead Subway a 10 for friendliness and cleanliness, and the artisan sandwich!
I am for work in Halsted. I really enjoyed the sub sandwich I had today. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend eating here.
