We stopped here while passing through. The food was pretty good compared to the food at the Sonic in our state. The car hop was not prepared. We asked for a packet of salt and 6 packets of ketchup, and he only had 3 ketchups. Took a few minutes for the other ketchup and salt. If you are serving fries and rings, be prepared to have salt, ketchup, and extra napkins when you bring out food.
I came to the sonic on Iowa Street in Lawrence and I must say that this is the best experience I've had at one. The food was great, the service and atmosphere was even better. Everyone was hustling to get out food but was also very polite and didn't rush with the customers. Thank you!
Service was fast and the carhop, great! It’s refreshing to be addressed and to get a thank you. I’ve always loved Sonic cheeseburgers and fries. One of the reasons they’re so good imo is that you can depend on them being fresh to order. But the last several times this doesn’t seem to be the case. The patties are luke warm at best, the bun is cold and the fries taste like they’ve been refried. I understand it’s tough when you’re understaffed so I’m hoping it’ll...
