Have been meaning to stop in for awhile but today was the first time we made it in. Needless to say the only disappointment I have is that this place is not open more! Everything was amazing! From the environment to the staff! Now to the question you are wanting answered...... how was the food? Hands down some of the best I have had in a very long time! It was hard to decide what to get but everything was super fresh, prepared perfectly and tasted great! Will definitely be back to try out everything else and will bring friends!

Sometimes in life, you find true treasures where you least expect it. The place may seem rickety from the outside, but the country fried chicken was by far the best I ever had (sorry, Mom). Generous portions, friendly service, and Mennonite cooks in a down-home Kansas atmosphere give this place a well-deserved 5 stars.

So glad I finally got the chance to eat at The Bread Bowl! The food tasted like my grandma's, the staff were very friendly, and the place is very clean! I had chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans and the cherry cheesecake for dessert. Awesome, awesome! My son had the blackberry chicken sandwich and apple pie. It was all delicious! We'll be back, no question about it!
We were finally able to try this place! Came in on a Wednesday evening, perfect ending to the day! We were pleasantly served the best HOMECOOKED meals you could ever receive from a diner! There was so much more we wanted to try, we will definitely be back! We highly recommend stopping into The Bread Bowl!

We love finding smaller businesses to support during our travels. This place was delicious. The service was great. I would 100% recommend you stop if you have a chance.... and get the chocolate cake... you won't regret it.

Stopped in for lunch but was blown away by the pie and ice cream. The sandwiches are sliders served on a homemade dinner roll. I chose the chicken salad and pulled pork with pasta salad. The pie is the bumbleberry with homemade vanilla ice cream. Best of all, they served the pie warm so the ice cream melted a bit! So wonderful, I love it!
