A bit out of my way but worth the drive!
Everyone I encountered walking in and while inside were nice and polite.
I had to call in a few minutes before my arrival and add some thing without any issue.
Wings and sides I got were delicious.
Can’t wait to go dine in as I know it’s always a better experience.
Happy I was recommended this place and Thank YOU!

Used to stop every time I was traveling through the area (at least once a month), last few months when I have stopped in to eat, food has noticeably declined in quality and price has increased, wait staff is still good. Not sure what has changed over the past few months but after the last time stopping and getting an over priced and poorly prepared meal, I won't go back.

Pork chop was dry. Baked potato very good with lots of butter and sour cream.

We Love Boomers. Every since we started eating here many years ago, we have never had a bad experience from there. We would and do highly recommend this place to anyone.

One of the best patty melts I've had in a long time, and the pork tenderloin sandwich one of the people in our group ordered also received rave reviews. This place is laid out well and has some good character inside, you might not expect something like this in a small Kansas town but if you are passing through on 75 it's a welcome stop.

****Update 10/182025 Stopped in again on a trip and had the pork tenderloin sandwiches again and they are still great!!!

We are driving through Kansas and Boomers was our first stop. We are so glad we chose Boomers instead of your run of the mill chain fastfood restaurant. Nestled at the edge of a main through way and into a lovely neighborhood, it stands out as a charming little town gem. Everyone was so nice and friendly (customers included), and our server/bartender, Lisa, went above and beyond to help us have a great stay. I'm sad to leave, but the trip must continue! If anyone is passing through or looking for a great place to stop, it would even be worth a little detour on a long drive. The food was excellent, the service was superb, and the venue itself was clean and welcoming and has a really down to earth, comfortable vibe. If this represents the locals and how they do thangs around here, every other small town eatery could learn a thing or two! We love you, Kansas, and we love you Boomers!

Don't cater to regulars first. Everyone is equal. And overstaffed. But wait along time for drinks and bill. Food was perfect.

All orders were good. Pork tenderloin sandwich, buffalo burger, smoked pork chop, Greek salad, chicken wrap.. Everyone was pleased with food and service also good. Spin dip with pita was excellent! Nice atmosphere. Will go there again. We came to town to visit More Than Lemons glass shop with in-house glass blower April Lemon. It is a must see as well!

My husband and I stopped for lunch on our way through the state. Food was perfect! He had the chicken fried steak and I had the Southwest salad - both delicious and generous portions. We made room to try some pie. Would highly recommend both the chocolate and the coconut! 🤤

First time trying this place, I was not impressed. Waiting 45 minutes for my food, the steak was cold and had hardly any flavor at all. It was a total letdown; I didn't even take a picture. .

Prime rib was tough and poor quality meat. And way over priced. Little baked potatoes. Salad was horrible. If your gonna charge 45$ for a prime rib dinner. You better know how to prepare it. Vary poor experience.

Broasted chicken is amazing. We love coming here anytime we are going to Prairie Band because it’s such a gem. Service is great too!
