Heard mixed reviews about this place.Ordered an old fashion not this best for the price. 8.50 for the old fashion part bitters/syrup/peel and a cheery and 4 bucks for shot.Next was the nachos. Good amount served but not much on the flavor side. Pull pork was bland and queso was just white veleeta cheese.Then order the sirloin medium cook. It was dry, over cooked and again zero seasoning to the waitress. She apologized and didnt offer any resolution. 90 bucks for 2 people was not worth the trip.

My wife and I arrived late into town. We found Boomers Grill going on closing time. We went in and noticed the atmosphere. Very welcoming. clean and comfortable. We asked the waitress if we could possibly get something to eat or if the kitchen was closed? She responded with a smile, gave us a menu, and said we could order whatever we wanted. The people were friendly, the staff was fantastic,..the food...well...just go try it!!! I wish we had a BOOMERS in my hometown. Thanks for making us feel welcome!!

We both Had a patty melt sanwich and diet Pepsi. Delicious and fresh. We sat at the bar where we were surprised to see people we knew. We watched golf and shared the fun with a son who called just as we were finishing our mealSo we hung around for another hour just enjoying the person behind the bar who was cheerfully making drinks for the wait staff to serve, friends, our son on the phone,And ourselves.

First time stopping here on our way to Prairie Band, it was so good. Will be stopping in next time to have a Bison Burger.
I have only been to Boomers twice and this time was really good. I had the Philly steak and a side salad. The salad was fresh and the sandwich was delicious. I really like the atmosphere as well. It's very welcoming and I could hang out here and watch the game most of the night. Although, since it is a restaurant, they may be frowned upon. We will stop here again next time we are in Holton.

This was my first time eating there. My friend and I really liked the variety on the menu. The service was quick and the food was hot. And the mashed potatoes were real. Next time we go to Holton we will stop by Boomers. I wish I would have taken pictures.
