Food is one of the best. I go to these stores when I'm in town. This one seems to have hired a "manager" from subway. He says a twenty minute wait when I walk in the door in an exasperated tone. His is all wrong with his fellow employees and you can see they are done with him. Ok, you're stressed, it's called the lunch rush for a reason. I was a manager for fast food, I get it.

Other firehouse subs get five stars from me. I will reassess...

All in all, it's not a bad sandwich shop, being a franchise and such. Staff was friendly, and the food was prepared in a timely fashion.

We found in both of our sandwiches a void, where maybe meat should have been? Instead, it was just bread. Also had some meatlike inedible junk of something on one of the sandwiches. Being handmade, I feel they could do a touch better.

The facility was clean, except for the space age drink dispenser....

The family and I love firehouse subs. Not a sandwich on the menu that's not 5 stars. Only bad thing is there isn't one in Salina, so we only get to go while visiting grandkids. Must visit.

Parking: Free parking right out front. So never a problem.
