I’m being generous with the one star, the only thing nice about our visit through the drive thru was the cashier and younger kid, they were polite and trying. We should’ve known it wasn’t going to go well with the presence of the what seemed the whole staff smoking outback when we pulled up. The chicken and fish we received had been sitting, was tough to chew and not fresh. Was asked if I wanted to pick a different side because they had to cook the mac n cheese and it would take 10 minutes so I said I’d change to french fries, not a big deal. She comes back a couple minutes later and states, “the corn side we have to cook as well so can you pull forward”, I said okay but at this point we’d been waiting 15 minutes and could’ve just got the mac n cheese to begin with since we were waiting. Got home and everything was cold which we only live about 3 minutes away, and what we assume was the manager who was cooking wasn’t wearing a uniform, no hair net, hoodie covered in dog hair, and sounding like she chain smokes and hocks loogies for a side hustle. Only know she was cooking because they forgot the vinegar sauce so my husband went in to grab it, to which this manager asked “what ya need?” So my husband said what he needed and she threw it on the counter and walked away. Won’t be returning at all.

I ordered online and the only thing that was good was the drinks. Ionly had one tender instead of three and one shrimp instead of what I was supposed to get, half a spoonful of Cole slaw, and my husbands chicken was raw in the middle! They don't have a working phone I guess because no one will pick up.

Frankly I’m surprised this store hasn’t been closed permanently, their customer service is the worst I’ve seen, they make a mistake? That’s your fault they refuse to answer the phones and the food is horrible I’ve driven from Salina to eat long John’s for so long and it has gotten worse every time I hope they re vamp or close for good

Food served was hours old and mostly dry, crusty, and burnt. I would have rather waited on fresh food than been served the garbage I got.

I have ate at LJS all over the U.S. and I have to say this one in Hutchinson KS is the worst I have ever had. My family and I stopped and ordered dinner and we had to wait over 30 minutes for out carry out order and our food was not correct and everything was way over cooked. I couldn't event eat my entire meal because of the poor quality. This was upsetting cause I normally enjoy LJS. The staff was more concerned about the drive thu customers than the customers inside the restaurant. Everyone inside had to wait at least 20-30 minutes for their food.

This is the worst Long John Silvers I've ever been too! Over 30 minutes on getting food, drive thru was cleared out twice before our order was finally ready. The chicken was small as I've ever seen! Looks like the oil that they cook the food in hasn't been changed in quite awhile! They forgot half of our order, like come on how hard is it to put together what is on a screen???? The employees acted like they could careless about the customers. I never in my life thought I would have such a disappointment in this place. Definitely wouldn't recommend this for anyone that would want good fish!

this is the fourth time in the last six months that I have been to Long John Silvers, especially during lent. I honestly almost contacted your company to have all my money returned to me for those four orders. I don't mind paying $30 for something, but I expect to get what I pay for. Not only that we were sitting at the window as they were cooking it. They literally had fish frying in there retainer and took a bottle of oil and poured it in there while it was cooking. I ordered coleslaw with our meal, no hush puppies and the fish and the chicken platter., most of the time we get two of those, with sides of two pieces of chicken and two extra piece of fish. When we got home, everything was in the bag. There was no lobster, the fish literally when you laid it down on the plate grease ran out of it. The chicken could not even be eaten. I called the store and was literally told. nothing would be returned, and they would replace the coleslaw that was missing if I'd like to come get it. I honestly didn't go back, and I will tell people about it with the economy the way it is $30 for two people is one thing but when you got a family of four or five and you get home and nothing is rightand the food cannot be eaten for the way it was cooked. You guys have a real problem at your Hutchinson, Kansas long John Silver. I don't even think I can bring myself to eat knowing I've been treated that way and what they do to others and then not say anything. I too have a business and I would never ever treat my customers that way. When you have four employees in there when cooking pouring in the grease trying to run the window and the cash register one standing at the back door, smoking a cigarette. I should know better because I used to see limes at your window, if you lived here, you would not see those lines anymore when I go by it's mostly employees cars. That's sad with the respect of the name of long John silvers that they would allow us to happen. I know it's not the company's fault but I know the franchise that has it now is not handling it properly. I thank you for your time. I do have photos and videos, but I was asked not to show them. I will honor that. It's just sad that my family can't go to a place that they love so well, due to the fact, knowing what it's gonna be like when you get a home.Someone from your corporate office needs to come and talk with management, as management myself I would consider it doing real promptly and setting things like this happened.
