Dont not bother to eat here.believe me go to Mcdonalds food and service would be better. They forgot to put order in so that took 45min. Then we didnt get what we ordered. On top of that they were rude about it!!!!!

Just enjoyed some fantastic food at Applewood! Had the Senior Chicken Strips. There were 2 huge pieces of chicken, the best sweet potato fries I've ever had, and some good coleslaw. Hubby had the small Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and corn. He took half of the chicken home. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and very competent. We will definitely eat there again!!

I read the reviews the parking lot was nasty with heavy traffic of insects restrooms where dirty a couple of wait staff out back smoking ...go across the other side of the highway there is a mcdonalds and a sonic that offer cleaner atmosphere and better quality food what is the leakage smell that one got to me

our 1st time there and definitely won't be our last. we had the Sunday brunch and it was probably the best one. from the minute we got there, the delicious salad bar, hot food with carved roast beef and ham to the mouth watering bread pudding plus amazing staff. we left totally satisfied.

Excellent all the way around. We were simply passing through the area and came upon Applewood Restaurant. Everything was delicious, the staff was super friendly and helpful. If you are ever in the area, please give them a try.

Been here several times and never had the CHICKEN FRIED STEAK. Do yourself a favor and try it, you will not be disappointed. The server claims its ranked best in America.....I wouldn't argue that point, I have yet to have any better than their verison!!! KUDOS!!!!

Great service. Waitress was really nice but will NOT interrupt you if you're on your phone. So if you want service, you have to put it down. LOL! The shaved beef open face sandwich with mashed potatoes was REALLY good. Just the right amount too. I was seated quickly and served my drink in about 2 minutes. Full lunch for less than $10! You don't find that anywhere anymore.

Best food I've ever put in my mouth the country fried steak mashed potatoes and green beans best I've ever had 10 star food you will never have food like this at any other truck stop absolutely amazing food will definitely be back country fried steak as big as the plate bring your appetite Loved it
