From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a fantastic atmosphere that perfectly captures the laid-back, vibrant vibe typical of Colorado breweries. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy great company.
I started with the Pelican Brew, which was excellent, but I wanted something special for my wife. Samantha was our amazing beer tender. She took the time to understand what my wife might like and suggested the REN with passion beer. Not only did she let us sample it first (a thoughtful touch!), but as soon as my wife tried it, she knew it was the one. It was refreshing and fruity—just the right choice for her!
Another highlight of our visit was the charity initiative they support for orphaned wildlife. I was so impressed when I offered to leave a tip and learned they were instead collecting donations for this cause. It felt great to contribute my change to such a worthy effort.
To top off our experience, the Burger Depot food truck was parked outside serving up gourmet delights. We indulged in their delicious offerings, which perfectly complemented our drinks.
In summary, Sandhills Brewery is a hidden gem with a nice vibe, wonderful people, and a genuine commitment to community causes. Good local brewery with a great vibe. The Flanders red and Golden strong are especially well done. They also have a good table saison. Oh the IPAs work if you are into that kind of thing.
