Visited this KS landmark on my way home to Minnesota. Ordered sirloin medallions with their special dry "rub". Medallions were cooked to a perfect medium rare. Steaks were tender, juicy and very flavorful. Only negative is the cramped seating. But the service and food was excellent.

I have been going here forever but tonight will probably be my last time, I understand they where busy and one waitress but we sat there for a very long time and Hadden been waited on and then noticed that 4 tables that came in after us had gotten service so we decided to leave and was going to pay for our drinks and waited to do that and then the waitress came and I told her I just wanted to pay for our drinks so we could leave, I was trying to just pay and leave and then she started to argue with me when I was explaining why we where leaving and I told her I didn't want to argue about it I just wanted to pay for our drinks and she kept arguing and making a scene and she made a very rude remark and walked away, I will never go back if that's the kind of people they have working there. just awful
Went in yesterday and had the worst service ever. Was told there would be a delay due to how busy... Not a problem. However, after being there for more than an hour and watching others get their food and not us. Waitress finally says it's coming this is after 45 minutes we say okay. Then the table beside us get their food from our waitress and they arrived 45 minutes after us. Left a 20.00 spot for tea and water and food we never got! Waitress tries to tell us oh, its coming as we are leaving. You know, admit you forgot to turn in our ticket or that it got lost and communicate I wouldn't have had a problem, I'm forgiving especially in the food industry. I felt as if I'm not welcome there nor wanted there so for that I won't be back. Been going there all my life and will no more just because of how I was treated.

You know if she would have came over and said, I'm so sorry I forgot to put your order in or hey the ticket got lost I would have been fine, heck already been there over an hour. We were greeted by locals our first visit here and invited into their conversation. This town is awesome. The food was generous and tasty... I had the Moon Burger and my bride enjoyed the Reuben. Yum.
