“The food was pretty good. My husband really liked his steak. The stuffed chicken was well cooked, but the sauce flavor was odd. Clove flavored wine sauce with sun dried tomatoes? I asked for mashed potatoes instead of rice pilaf, but still got rice, which I am not a fan of. The Brussels sprouts were flavored with horseradish ,which I just wish I had known because I wouldn’t have ordered it. My friends loved their steak salad. I say stick with steak! Our waitress wasn’t super friendly and was a little slow.“

I was in the area for work and had a craving for a steak. Sure, Texas TBone says they're the best around but are they? Being from Houston, and not to brag, I have had plenty steaks at 5 star restaurants, local dives and grill up steaks regularly. Believe me when I tell you that the ribeye at Texas TBone was all but perfect! I have to say it could of used a bit more seasoning but the steak itself was juicy, tender and full of that good grilled flavor. I sat near the bar as it was just me so service was so-so and the atmosphere was hopping for a Tuesday night with lots of families.

If you're passing through the area, or like me who was staying up in McPherson, do yourself a favor and have their ribeye. Thanks TTB for literally being the best meal I had in central KS all week!“
