The restaurant has great potential, but my experience was mixed. The food itself was good, with fresh ingredients and appealing presentation, but some dishes lacked the strong flavors I expected. The service was friendly, but the staff seemed overwhelmed at times, which resulted in slower service. The atmosphere was nice and the space was clean, but it felt a bit noisy during the peak hours. With some improvements in service organization and flavor consistency, this restaurant could offer a truly remarkable dining experience. I’m open to giving it another try in the future.

The food was only partially cooked, and the prices were very high for the food you received. Would pass up if traveling through, and I and the wife will never eat there again.

My daughter ordered fruit as her side, but neither of us thought to ask which fruit they have. They brought out the 2 fruits that she doesn't like; so she offered them to me. Long story short, the manager (elderly, short gray hair) walks up to our table, a bit loudly speaking, "what's this I hear about you wanting a different side because your mama ate yours?".... EXCUSE ME?! In front of all these customers, you're embarrassing me: making it seem as though I'm taking my child's food! She offered it to me because SHE DIDN'T LIKE THAT FRUIT! It's ok if you have to charge us extra for her to get a different side (as she didn't like which fruit she got). BUT TO WALK UP TO OUR TABLE WITH THAT ATTITUDE?: AND SAY SOMETHING AS DEGRADING AS THAT, IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS?!

Our waitress was quick to take our order and bring drinks. After we got our food, we didn't see her until the check was ready. She forgot to refill any of our drinks (all waters) and forgot that we ordered pie. All of the servers were seen standing around on their phones and talking to other servers, not paying any attention to the customers. The manager seemed upset that we had an issue and needed our drinks refilled.
Overall experience would be rated 5/10 would not recommend.

The French toast was not great. I usually don’t have a problem at village inn. But I did not enjoy the cooking recently. I wanted to eat out instead of cooking, but I have regrets. The French toast wasn’t battered correctly, it tasted just like a soft piece of toast! My boyfriend’s skillet seems fine though
