There was no food on buffet and it was the middle of lunch. When fresh food was put out it tasted not so good. So we left.

I love China Palace. I don’t live in Iola anymore but every time I go home to visit, it is a requirement that we get takeout the first night upon my return. Thank you for making the best Chinese food that has ever come out of a restaurant.

Be careful when you order two of the same thing. When you get home and look in your to go containers, neither one of them are completely full. Check them before you leave.

Apparently a favorite with the locals, but gourmet it is not. I sample much of the buffet and it all was salty and a little over- cooked.Vegetarian options: Available as one dish .

Came here and was NOT disappointed. Authentic Chinese cuisine. Wait staff and hostess were very welcoming and the food was excellent! We will be here a lot. Surprised to learn they conduct both menu ordering as well as a buffet at certain times.Do not judge a book by the cover the exterior is under renovations but worth going to the restaurant. Very clean and well put together.

Our family really enjoys Chinese food and we’ve had it all over the country. This was some of the best we’ve had! We found out the chefs are brothers and they have been cooking for over 40 years!! They were head and su chefs in Europe at a 5star fine dining restaurant as young men and now they are here in Iola! What a unlikely treasure. We had kind and fast service. We ordered from the menu as the buffet was not open this time but we can’t wait to catch them on a buffet day.

Good small-town Chinese buffet, it can be a bit difficult to find where to turn in but it's definitely worth

This place looks nice, the people are good, but their food is always old. Egg rolls that are so old that they're crunchy, not crispy. They have premium food, but it moves slowly. I think that they should cook more throughout the day with smaller batches of food we're going to actually eat. Think they could do without the ribs and spend less on expensive foods like that and spend more on easy to make, good to eat, quick and simple spotlights of Chinese food.Overall, very high potential, but currently, kinda nasty. Will keep tabs on this place and hope for fresher food, and smart improvements. With the right direction, this place could be a staple of this town.Parking: Gets busy occasionally.
