Sam & Louie's Italian Restaurant & New York Pizzeria

I was visiting the area and decided to stop and try this place. The atmosphere was nice and laid back it’s especially a family friendly restaurant I had the cheese bread appetizer which was very amazing paired with marinara sauce I had the homemade Lasagna which was great and had very robust flavors it worth getting

Used to be a good place for pizza but not any more. I went in and ordered a pizza to go. When I got home which is a 15 min drive it was almost cold. The crust was so thin and the edges almost black. I waited half an hour for it and as it was a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza I know it was mine , but it looked like it had been sitting for a long time. It was hard and dry.
Sorry they just lost me as a customer.

My son and I had the pleasure of eating lunch at Sam and Louie's in Iola, KS today. Nice atmosphere, clean and absolutely spotless establishment! The food was amazing!! Very tasty - my lasagna was definitely the best lasagna I've ever eaten! Side salad was crisp and the dressing was pure perfection! On top of this - our waitress was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. It may have been my first time dining there - but by no means the last - we may have to make it a weekly adventure. Thanks for a job well done!!

We drove 1.5 hours to eat here for my daughter's birthday!! We have had their pizza at many KC festivals and it was what she wanted for her birthday!!

We had 3 different slices of pizza late on Saturday night from the food truck at Katy Days and it was GREAT PIZZA! Thank you!

So many things to complain about unfortunately. First of all, we were told it it would be ready to pick up in 20 minutes. So we show up in 20 minutes, and they had not even started or Pizza yet. And this happened every time we order from here. I order extra pineapple and I'm pretty sure extra pineapple is not 2 or 3 chunks of pineapple per slice. And the crust tastes like it's fresh out of the freezer. It's that cardboard box type of crust. No more sam and Louise for us.

I used Door Dash to have an entree and dessert delivered to my mother for Mother's Day. She received only the entree. She called Sam and Louie's and told them she didn't receive the dessert. They said I could ask for money back or she would have to pick up the dessert. They would not deliver it. I was very disappointed and will not ordering anything to be delivered from Sam and Louie's again. MK

It has gotten a lot faster than the past we actually enjoyed it this time thank you ?

Alfredo needs some work. Bread sticks were the bomb. Dessert was outstanding. Turtle cheese cake.
