My dad and I went here when he was visiting me. I used to love A&W as a kid and was excited to make more memories and get the infamous root beer float for the first time in a while. Unfortunately, we didn't end up ordering anything. The day we went in, there was a male server being trained by what I would assume is a male manager or supervisor. However, having not worked as a server, Im unsure of who is able to train who etc. I did not get anyone's names either. As my dad and I waited in line, the gentleman being trained attempted to help up at least 4 times. Mind you, I had watched this man take another's order as we walked in and he seemed to do just fine. The man training him however, refused to let him help us. The trainer had the server just standing there doing nothing when the server was trying to help in any way he could. The trainer had a nasty attitude towards the server and honestly ruined the vibe of the restaurant seconds after we walked in. On top of the attitude, the trainer had us waiting in line for 10-15 minutes while refusing to let the server help us. The server was so kind but looked so stressed. As we waited, we watched the server attempt to help in multiple ways. Offering to take orders, to run food, etc. This guy was listing off things he could do and was shot down every single time by the person training him. I was honestly appalled at the behavior. My dad and I left extremely disappointed and feeling bad fjr the server who was being trained. I understand it was a bit busy that day but thay in no way excuses how this guy was treated, in front of customers no less. This is a relatively late review as I hadn't had tome to get around to it. Hopefully things have gotten better for this server and hopefully whoever was training him changed his attitude.

The food was good and float was great 👍. What can one say about atmosphere. It's in a truck stop. But the whole building was Very clean and neat. That includes the bathroom, store and food area clean -clean- clean!

Did not eat here. We investigated since it looked retro based on color scheme. Menu was standard A & W. They did have souvenir glassware for sale (might be plastic not glass). This place is attached to truck stop in western part of Junction City. No other services nearby.

If you like overpaying for subpar food then this is your stop off the highway. After sitting down I can hear the attendant detailing the daily special but I paid $16.41 for a combo meal. If you’re looking for value, decent food and a knowledgeable staff you won’t find it here. ID: AABRYM6WACA4

Ate here today. Had fond memories of a and w as a kid. This place was not good at all. Ordered 2 double bacon cheese burgers combos 2 chicken sliders Order of mini corn dogs. And a polar swirl.... Everything was mediocre. Went to get catchup they didn't have any the only things they had were mustard and pickle relish. Asked the front counter if they may have had anything else. Was told no the only thing they could give me was what they already had out... that sucked.... oh well doubt I'll be back

Hello, I recently visited this establishment with my partner (who is trans), and one of the employees (white, was kind of balding in the hairline, hazel eyes and dark hair) called them the T slur. This behavior is unacceptable and whoever this person is should get fired.
