We always stop in Junction City on the way to St. Louis area and this restaurant is one of the main reasons! Food is always delicious, good variety of traditional Italian dishes on the menu, and prices are good. We enjoyed the perfectly cooked calamari, and I had a side salad with the unique and delicious house dressing and then the chicken Alfredo, and the chicken strips were so tender I could cut them with a fork! I wasn't expecting good Italian in Central Kansas but we stumbled upon some here. I had a chicken, pasta and vegetable dish and salad, my wife had a calzone, and we all enjoyed the garlic bread.
I hadn't eaten at Bella's in 4 years. Last time I was upset because the menu didn't have the meatball sub, it's back! Anyway, I ordered the veal cacciatore. My date ordered a chicken tortellini dish. We also ordered some cheese balls. Everything was PERFECT. I haven't enjoyed fresh Italian dough in years. It smelled fresh, it was light and still a little gooey. The complimentary bread was fresh. And our main dishes were amazing. Exactly what they should...
