Hmm… where to begin.. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been spoiled and lived in Texas for the last 3 years that my BBQ standards are high or… what exactly. But the brisket was very dry. It didn’t have much flavor. The Mac and cheese tasted like Kraft Deluxe but it was made 2 days ago and not reheated properly. The pulled pork was also dry. I got the nacho fries with pulled pork. It was good. I don’t think they need the queso or green onions. I didn’t like the music choice at all as I have small children. The stackers aren’t that great. $6 for something with mild to almost nonexistent flavor. The young man at the counter needs to at least act like he enjoys his job..he was pretty boring.
The pulled pork was tender and good, the ribs were fall of the bone good. I also got the Mac n cheese (delicious), and green beans ( Smokey flavor with a hint of vinegar) soul food ish, and a banana stacker. The stacker had thick creamy whipped cream with banana pudding and vanilla wafers. It was good. Their sweet tea is on point! Sweet and just right. I preferred to mix their original BBQ sauce with the hickory flavor. I'm from Georgia so we like it sweet and full of flavor.
