Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I was extremely disappointed. I love Cracker Barrel. When I go i always eat the same thing. Chicken fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and apples. The chicken was rubbery and didn't taste fresh like it use too ans the potatoes were old. I sent it back and it was better but still not the standard

Food was not great. My mom had the smoked chicken and it was rare. Not fully cooked through and you could see pink in the middle. The server had way too many tables that we couldn’t find her when we needed anything. After we ordered, it took 25-30 minutes to get our food and the server didn’t mention the bread is served with the meal unless asked for it before until we were waiting for our food for 15 minutes.

Store is cute though.

I ordered my food to go. Breanna. Sorry probably spelled wrong, and Karin were at the register. Seriously you could not ask for a nicer lady. She is a true gift to this store. Breanna was so sweet and brought my food quickly. Food was delicious. Always a go to place, when traveling. Thank you ladies!

While dining here last night , I saw the manager handle one of the most difficult and aggressive customers I’ve ever witnessed. She stayed calm, professional, and respectful the entire time, even as the guest was being rude and disruptive. She stepped in quickly to protect her staff and still made sure the rest of us had a great dining experience. I felt compelled to leave this review because so many people only post when something goes wrong , but moments like this, where true leadership and grace under pressure are on display, deserve to be recognized!

We are (were) Cracker Barrel regulars while traveling. Sadly this was not the typical Cracker Barrel experience...... Was seated at table and ignored by servers over 15 minutes.... restaurant was half full...asked for wait staff to place order..... turkey dinner had cold turkey and dressing -only corn and mashed potatoes were hot. Apologies given and free dessert offered but what I really wanted was dinner..... several other concerns. Bottom line - maybe store was severely short staffed in kitchen - maybe our server was dealing with personal life things - who knows but when added all up + I was left with bad taste in my mouth, hungry, and with a lighter wallet.

We ate there this morning and this place has really went downhill, and the screwed our bill and my friends eggs were cold and we had to wait forever just to get our drinks, we were all discussed because of lack of service, we had a new server who still needed someone shadowing him, will never eat here ever again! Also there was a lady next to us that sat there and never got here drink our food until we had ask them where her food was!
