Typical sports bar atmosphere. The food smelled amazing, but everything had a really heavy fried flavor & didn't taste anything like it smelled. The fried chicken sandwich slipped completely from the breading with the first bite, falling out of the bun. The onion rings were very good, & the person in our party that got the smokehouse mac & cheese said it was good.
It wasn't bad food. The wings were great. The Pulled Pork was dry and bland without sauce. The brisket was bland as well without sauce. It was moist. The sauces were not bad. The beans were not that good. The Mac and Cheese wasn't bad. Overall a decent place but they need to work on flavors for their meats. Good BBQ shouldn't need sauce to flavor it.
JC’s was a solid place! we were passing through into wichita and made a stop. the meats were solid and sides were as well!
