Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. Always leaving feeling full, satisfied, and relaxed. Love that there's always something new to try and that the people who work there are so skilled at their craft. The decor, lighting, everything is wonderful. The puns in the bathroom crack me up as well đ
Nice local coffee shop! Utilize the Joe App to save on your order or order ahead as this little shop is basically a local business version of a $tarbuck$ in my opinion. And if I am going to splurge on paying for someone to make me coffee and a breakfast sandwich once in a while, then I much rather do it here than at a big chain.
I think I usually get what they called The Big Red 1 drink named after the 1st Infantry Division which was my unit here at FRK -and this drink was very good for one of those jazzed up coffees!
Nice employees and a cozy dine-in area that would be good for reading or using a laptop.
Great staff, quick service and good prices. The atmosphere is great too. Comfortable, quiet, cozy.
If you want clean and quick donât come here. Me and my family got three simple drinks and a muffin. It was a half hour wait, tickets were all over the counter because they had a VERY unorganized system. The bathroom was clean except for the piece of poop and that pee splatters that was on the floor.
I have been going to Paradox for almost a year now. I go every Saturday for a drink before work. Itâs been going down hill the last 4 months and I just try to rationalize it but this Saturday I just canât anymore. I put in my order on the Joes app at 11:15. I usually do so because I have work at 12. This time I ordered two Lotus Refreshers with Boba, a total of $20.67. I left my house and got there at 11:30, walked in and it wasnât ready. There was maybe 4 people in the whole place. I wait, nervous because I have to leave there at 11:30 to get to work on time. About 11:45 I still hadnât gotten any sign of it being made. Two people prior to me had asked for refunds because they had been waiting that long as well. Then finally I was about to ask for a refund and she said âno we are making it nowâ which they did in about a minute BUT when I got my drinks finally at 11:55, I said âI paid extra for bobaâ the guy said âoh sorryâ and started looking for boba, finally the lady said âwe are outâ and I just had to accept the loss. I left and we got in my car and tried our drinks and they tasted AWFUL. Again, I always come here and know how good they are suppose to be. I really just think them rushing made it horrible. My co-worker and I didnât even drink them. We threw them away. I called to ask for a refund but no answer. I called a total of 6 times from 12:30-2 and no one ever answered. I will not be going here again, which is sad because I truly like the Lotus refreshers. But after waiting 40 mins for two simple drinks, being late to work and paying $20 dollars for them and not even getting a âIâm sorry about the wait or bobaâ I just canât see myself supporting this small business. I will be looking for somewhere else to purchase these.
Thank you so much for being so kind to give free energy drink. It was a refund
Decent coffee chain, a pleasant break from Starbucks. Over the course of a recent visit two junction city, we stopped by paradox coffee twice. Unfortunately, on both occasions the store was out of half of our order.
Really hoping they get their logistics together before our next trip.
I don't drink coffee but the food is actually pretty tasty.
This coffee shop is-or could be- truly a hidden gem. I say could be, because they seem to be closed more than open. This is really my only complaint. The food quality is great; the staff is nice and the selection is good; even the building is cute. However, if you don't catch then before 2, you're out of luck. So sadly we keep going back to Scooters and Starbucks, although we would visit here much more often were they available to visit.
Amazing locally owned and operated Cafe. The owners are wonderful and the staff is always friendly.
They do their best to be involved and give back to the community as well as make amazing breakfast and lunch entrées.
I go almost daily for my coffee in the am and their energy drinks in the early noon.

Ordered catered coffee. It was scheduled to be delivered a day they were closed, no problem. We move it to the next day(today) for 9am. I get called at 730 this morning from a random number no voicemail. At 830 they call again and leave a voicemail telling me they donât have any one to delivery so I can either pick up my order or get it refunded. The point of having it delivered was that I didnât have time to get it myself. I like supporting small business when they have good follow through.

Took 20 minutes to receive our complete order. I would say they were busy, but not to the extent of that, unfortunately. The bacon was very hard, and pepper jack cheese was lacking the pepper. Unfortunately, this was my first visit, so I don't have anything else to base my experience on.

Second time visiting this place, my expectations and overall joy of coming to Paradox has increased.
First visit, hot caramel macchiato and their avocado toast. It was overall good but didnât realize there was a fairly cozy yet spacious rest area for family, friends and community members.
Second visit, ordered a hot Big Red One as itâs the local special. Wasnât disappointed and fallen back in love with the use of raspberry in coffee. The chocolate and raspberry blend was incredible! I also ordered their Paradox breakfast sandwich, never thought a semi neutral flavor but incredibly soft yet chewy potato bread would make this sandwich sing.
To test out the beautiful sectional, I brought my current crochet project to enjoy the peace from home. Pending work and family obligations, I want to keep coming here weekly.
The staff was the main catalyst for returning. While itâs their job to be friendly and knowledgeable of what theyâre selling, it was the small moment of kindness. They put a message on my first to-go order a couple of weeks ago and didnât see it until I got in the car. Itâs an incredibly small gesture in the grand scheme of things, but itâs the genuine kindness of people that makes me want to return to an establishment. Sincerely, thank you so very much! I honestly needed that.
The bathroom is incredibly spacious, making it incredibly friendly for those who need a wheelchair or need an extra hand from a caretaker.
The only negative here is that I didnât get to visit Paradox until just recently. This is my go-to coffee & bistro place until I have to move again.
Kid-friendliness: One of the largest tables being used had a family playing a card game while having their drinks. Itâs incredibly calm here, with the music loud enough for a majority of people can hear it, but soft enough to help children/people from feeling over stimulated.
Wheelchair accessibility: The bathroom is incredibly spacious, making it incredibly friendly for those who need a wheelchair or need an extra hand from a caretaker.

This is a great little place for chatting with a friend or just working on homework. The staff is very friendly and I love that they use the Monin syrups! Better coffee and it's cheaper than Starbucks!
