As a local, this is hands down my favorite restaurant in town. I love to see the kids working here in the summer. Please tip the car hops! They work so hard, especially if they're on skates.
Absolutely terrible service this morning, tried to get a drink before work and I was the only customer there when I arrived three other people showed up a couple minutes after I arrived and all got their orders taken and received before mine was even taken. I have been to this sonic in particular and had to wait on my drinks for 15 minutes. It says your drink is on the way and then it might show up 5-7 minutes later after you press the button again and ask for what you paid for. They clearly just try to act like they get drinks out fast for the system, but in reality they take 10-15 minutes to make a regular Dr Pepper. I know every job has its challenges, but one customer wanting one drink should not be a challenge, and if it is there should be more people or someone else working who is capable making someone a drink.

Ordered at Sonic on Elmore St in Davenport Iowa around 9:24pm. Waited in the pickup stall for over 25 minutes. I never received my ordered because after patiently waiting for over 25 minutes I had to leave to go to work. I pressed the stalls button after waiting just 7 minutes and was told that they were still working on my order;which contained only one Rt 44 cherry limeade. I then tried again pressing the button several times for my stall to get help or some sort of assistance with no response. I watched through the window as the staff sat there gossiping amongst each other instead of assisting customers, working on orders, or running food. My stalls button kept being cleared, yet the stalls near by that arrived several minutes after me were assisted and orders were brought out to them

I'm only giving 2 stars instead of 1 for the sole purpose because the food is still okay for the most part even though the order is always messed up. Every time I order a Bacon Double Cheeseburger they never add the bacon. Whenever I get a Sonic Blast all it ends up being is a cup of vanilla ice cream with some M&M's sprinkled on top. There's none mixed in like it's supposed to be like McFlurry's just a couple on top. Below you can see the M&M sonic Blast I got with hot fudge I paid extra for but didn't get. Literally just a cup of vanilla ice cream. I already ate the couple M&M's on top and got mad enough about it that I'm posting a review. I don't know if it's lack of reading comprehension or just laziness, but it's pretty pathetic not to get these things right especially when I'm paying extra to get these things. It's not like I changed a lot or have a complicated order.
I like eating at Sonic, but I'm about to stop because I'm not getting the food I order and if I call and complain all I'm usually told is ah well or that's how it's supposed to be and it's like clearly not if you advertise the M&M Blast on your menu with M&M's mixed throughout the whole Blast.
Clearly the entire staff needs to be trained again because this happens every time I eat here and these kind of mistakes are unacceptable. If it happens to me every time I order the. I can imagine I'm not the only one whose order gets messed up.
03NOV Just say your out of limes at this point. Ordered two limeades and each one had a HALF of a slice of lime in it. If my husband would not have come home with this I would have asked for them to fix it or refund me.

food was fine, servers seemed understaffed as I only saw the same two young people serving essentially everything at rush hour, one of the managers is likely racist from the differential treatment I saw to coloured customers and staff. Made me and my girlfriend uncomfortable, we're back in England now but probably would not come here again should we visit again.
