Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse offers an experience that leaves a bit to be desired, especially considering the price point. Expect to pay premium prices, but don't expect premium quality in return. The yakisoba, in particular, was quite disappointing – a truly subpar offering that lacked flavor and authenticity. Similarly, the tuna used for the sushi felt like a lower-grade cut, yet it was still priced as if it were top-tier. For the cost, one would hope for a more elevated culinary experience. If you're going for the exceptional Japanese cuisine, you might want to consider other options.

The service was excellent and the food was tasty. We ordered the love boat, which had plenty of fish for everyone.

Food was not good at all and neither was the service. I waited for about 30 minutes before my food came out and it had a dead fly right in the middle. The server suggested I just take it out and eat around it.

Very good. I've eaten sushi at restaurants from Topeka, Manhattan and this is by far my favorite place to eat.

Spicy edamame is a must. My wife loves the lobster roll. Always super friendly when we visit.

I ordered the fried rice w/ pork, unfortunately the meat wasn’t edible. My husband didn’t care for the chicken (sesame chicken I believe), but I thought it was pretty good. Good flavor and crunch. Nephew wanted to go for his graduation, we all went with Hibachi shrimp & lobster, it was decent.

Great food and nice quiet atmosphere when you eat lunch on a weekend. Service is very friendly and prompt. Price is okay considering the times we live in, and you get a LOT of food. For myself and my wife, we had enough leftover for a late afternoon snack. Will definitely come back.

Food is always good, the staff is very friendly, sushi is prepared at a bar you can see so you know it is being made safely and cleanly. The restaurant itself is always clean, never had a bad experience. Would recommend to anyone if you like japanese.
