The long Island iced tea was so good... and of course the food. Love this place for date night with hubby. Waitress was very nice and apologetic for the wait time. I dont mind wait time if the food is good...

Ordered the TNT roll (spicy tuna, eel, and avocado fried with spicy Mayo and eel sauce) first of all no eel. 2nd this is not sushi grade tuna, AT ALL. We used to come here all the time when Sarah was the owner and it was amazing. We moved back and had the craving and this isn’t great anymore it’s not even that good.

My favorite Japanese Restaurant in the JC-Manhattan area. My server was friendly and attentive. I appreciated the fact that she told me up front that the food would take 20 minutes or more, on a busy Friday night. She took my appetizer order and did an amazing job checking on me. They are always busy here, with a brisk take-out business. My sushi rolls were delicious. Everything was exactly as I wanted.

Food wasnt bad but wasnt made fresh, alot of what we ordered appeared to have been frozen and recooked. Not worth the price for sure. Paid over $80 for three people

You've got to try the Bagel roll. We're coming back for just that, if nothing else.

I am pretty disappointed. I wanna start out saying the food is good, waitress was amazing. My issue is the lack of care taken with me. We came in today Saturday the 10th. I told the waitress I have a severe mushroom allergy and to make sure no mushroom. I even got 2 salads instead of the soup just incase. Salad was yummy. Crab Rangoon very tasty. Good came out looked and smelled very good! I looked at my place and moved stuff around to insure no mushrooms. I didn't see anything. So I started eating about 3 bites in I find a mushroom. My husband and son inlaw ran to the store to get me some benadryl. Told the waitres about it. She apologized and got the manager. The manager came right over and apologized. She started looking for the mushroom. My husband without thinking ate the mushroom without thinking about it. ? anyway. At this point my mouth is starting to get numb and tingly. My face is starting to go numb and tingly. I asked the manager about it and she said they mix all the veggies together and they just pick them out. I'm not sure at what point they pick them if they wait until it's cooked or when raw. Its 2 1/2 hours later. Me on 3 benadryl extra strength pills and my face is still tingly and I'm starting to get welts in my mouth and on my tongue. It's scary that they don't take food allergies seriously. I'm trying to hold off on taking my epi pin because they are expensive. They did offer to make me something else but that trust is gone. Please take people allergies seriously! Cook stuff separate and use fresh vegetables to avoid this. ?P.s. those few bites were AMAZING. It was hard not eating it!

I went there for lunch. We order two bento box lunches off the lunch menu. It took almost an hour for the food to come out and when it did, it was so cold. All of it was cold and the serving sizes left something to be desired. When I responded to the waitress about how the food was cold and asked for a discount she got the manager. The manager looked at me as if I were lying and gave a small discount of 15%. I truly hope my experience is singular to myself and others haven’t had this issue. This wasn’t the experience I was hoping to have on my first visit because I won’t be going back.

The absolute worst customer experience EVER!! We go there for birthdays and such. Never been disappointed until today. Our drinks and appetizers were prompt. That's where it ended. Our waitress complained about everything to all her customers. The tables were not wiped down after she cleared them. Other people then were seated at those tables. Soup and salad took an hour to get. Now, mind you, the others seated after us got theirs. The lettuce in my salad was BROWN and translucent. Then 1 meal of 3 was served...it was wrong. By then the entertainment factor of our incompetent server was no longer amusing. Think twice about going here!!If you do, cut bait and run after the first hour. It doesn't get any better...

I love the food at this restaurant. Very authentic ! Always fresh. Sushi is better than anywhere else I’ve ever had it! Amazing to have a place like this in the middle of the country.?
