It was Thanksgiving Day and we had NO IDEA they closed in 10 minutes when we walked in but we would have never made it anywhere else before they closed as well so they let us order and I will admit for 2 6 inch sub meals and 2 cookies it was $48 and shocked us!! The sandwichs were so unbelievably good tho!! So good!!

When on the road in Western Kansas sometimes choices get a little sparse. Small town diners become a hit or miss affair sometimes, and I am pleased to regard Hen's as a hit. They were busy on a Friday night, but the staff were friendly and the food filling. It is fairly new still, and I think they could use either one more person on a busy Friday, or a better system for keeping things moving as service was a little slow, and a condiment had to be requested 3 times after it was omitted from the order.
If you are on the road and looking for a clean good place to eat, this is it. They take a lot of pride in their facility. The restroom was impeccably clean.
Good food, a bit pricey. But the owners are rude and not friendly at all.

Very nice place. No cell service on T-Mobile if you need it while eating. Limited menu. No chicken fried steak or breakfast. What's on the menu is really good tho. Looks very new on the inside and outside.
