We stopped in on our way to CO. We heard about it from my sister. The french fries were just out of the fryer and were so crunchy and fresh on the inside. The hamburger was juicy and very tasty. We’ll be back.

The food. The food is okay. But not for the price. The prices are WAY above what they should be.
The service. The service is fantastic, the always make sure you have everything you ordered before you leave. This is the only place I go where I don’t have to check the bags before I leave.
The atmosphere. The atmosphere is great, lives up to its name. Very classic old timey restaurant.

This is more like a fast food diner experience but still had the look and feel along with music. The food all came out in paper bags, which was a unique touch but unnecessary for dining in. We had tje double cheeseburger, BLT, okra, garden salad, corndog, and a vanilla waffle cone. It was all good, but it is not a homemade dining experience if that's what you are looking for.

I had the fried shrimp basket. Shrimp were reasonably good. French fries were only luke warm. Hush puppies (2) were excellent. Lots and lots of varied condiments to use for dipping. Service was pleasant and prompt. Atmosphere was OK. '50's music playing in the background. But the bench in my booth had a large section that was covered in duct tape that had been there for a while. Other booths were the same. They need to be repaired, not just duct taped.
While I was there, the owner and several employees were having what looked to be a birthday party for someone. Nice idea. But none of the food they were eating was from their own restaurant. Guess they needed something better!
Vegetarian options: Not much for vegetarians. Just a few sides.

Tasty food at reasonable prices. I didn't get to go in yet but enjoyed the convenience of the drive through. Great chicken wraps for anyone looking for a healthier option. The kids meal only comes with one chicken tender of you order that so beware. Overall a decent small town place so you can avoid corporate chains
