This is a small town Cafe. Nice variety of sandwiches and usually a daily or weekly special. My wife loves fried chicken night-usually Thursday. They don't take charge cards but they will take cash and checks.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome here. The bar is not overwhelming or noticeable. Being a small town, everyone is on their best behavior when a kid is there. And yes, the grown ups have fun pool games with the kids. No worries.
Dive bar to beat all dive bars.Great food and very friendly staff. Friendly local patrons. I think this is mostly frequented by the same 100 locals and once in a while someone new stops in. The cook/owner came out of the kitchen and talked with me about the bar...that was kinda cool.Cool old building that has been around for more than 100 years.
I ate at 1 small town restaurant Friday night and another Saturday for lunch. What a difference a few miles make. The best fish sandwich I've had in a long time. The fish was fresh, the atmosphere is low-key and the place is clean. I hear their Fried Chicken is really good and will be out there soon for that. Keep up the good work and great food
