We had an incredible experience at 801 Chophouse! From start to finish, everything was top-notch, but what truly made the evening unforgettable was our server, Nick. He was absolutely phenomenal—attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and genuinely made us feel cared for the entire night. His recommendations were spot-on, and his professionalism and warmth elevated the whole dining experience. The food was outstanding, but Nick's service made it even better. If you're dining at 801 Chophouse, I can't recommend asking for him enough—you'll be in the best hands.

We enjoyed a great anniversary celebration at 801. Not only were we provided excellent service, but the manager also participated by congratulating us and serving our cocktails. We were quite impressed with the service, and the food was amazing. I had prime rib and my wife had the filet; both were excellent. I also recommend the salads and the appetizers--many wonderful options. We had not had a chance to go to 801 for several months, but we will be back soon after this amazing celebration experience.

What a delicious meal! We started with the fried calamari - so good! My husband has the wet aged ribeye and I had the wet aged strip, both were cooked to perfection, a crust on the outside and exactly as ordered inside. The flavor was great, you can tell they get good cuts of meat. We share the garlic mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts and creamed spinach. The addition of the honey mustard on the sprouts is great. We finished with the Grand Marnier soufflé - so delicious. I can see why this is a popular place. It is pricey tho, so be ready for that.

Steaks and prime rib we're all excellent. Lamb chops were amazing. Sizes were all excellent except for the onion rings, which are subpar. Very oily and weird texture. Other than that, it was an excellent meal. Restaurants very loud.

We dined with the Sunday night prefix menu which is an excellent value. Delicious tender steaks, great starter salads and dessert. We enjoyed 3 courses with choices. Service was excellent as always. We enjoyed going for a non-special occasion!

Almost everything we were served was well made and delicious. The seasonal Heirloom tomato salad was off the charts in flavor and quality. My cosmopolitan from the bar - perfection. Unfortunately we were there to celebrate our anniversary and could hardly hear each other it was so noisy. Contrast the Leawood location to downtown Kansas City location (quiet and elegant, better acoustics). They gave us a free slice of cheesecake for our anniversary - quite a nice surprise! We will visit 801 again - but probably go to the downtown location.
