I have ordered here numerous times for nearly 3 years, we eat it almost weekly mostly through door dash. The sausage we DoorDash'd was undercooked and soggy, it still had pink bits in the middle. Very disappointing, as it was clearly not close to being cooked and it was immediately apparent. No one even looked it is before it was packed or they would have seen it immediately. It is normally nice and crispy. I would upload images, but Google isn't allowing me to.

Everything at bamboo Penny's was fantastic! Our waiter was wonderful and very attentive, the food was fresh and flavorful, and the atmosphere was well decorated and beautiful. I would highly recommend for a good date spot or a casual meal with friends. Their tiger cry beef was amazing and the flavors all worked together perfectly. I had soft shell crab in my dish and it was the best I had in a while. I would highly recommend a visit.

Service wasn’t great, our waiter was not attentive at all. Even tho we had a reservation we sat for awhile before we were served, and that’s after I had to ask the hostess if we could get some water. Maybe short staffed idk, but for a first time customer I wasn’t impressed. Food presentation was fabulous but the flavors didn’t blow my mind, I’ve have had much better Thai food in KC. My pad Thai was very bland and dry, the chocolate rangoons were tasty with a warm chocolate dipping sauce.

Great food, best place we’ve had in probably 10 years.
Had Thai food in different cities across America, Europe, Western Asia, Mexico and Central America.
This food has an amazing balance between delicate flavors, clean oils and enough salt and spice. You can tell that their chef takes pride in choosing only the best ingredients, perhaps even organic ingredients, it doesn’t weigh you down like regular American food.
Service wasn’t very good, yet the kitchen made it all wonderful.
We will be coming back for more!

The Pad Thai a la Penny was very flavorful and well seasoned. I should have gotten Thai Hot - if you like Habanero-level spice, then Hot wasn't enough.
Not really authentic, the difference between MILD and HOT is to sprinkle a few pepper flakes, very disappointed in the food taste.

My server took my plate and put it in a togo box before I was finished with my meal. I politely sat there and finished eating out of the container. I kept waiting for the food to taste better with each bite. Wasn't savory. Do not order the $16 daiquiri. I won't go back.

Plus is neighbors to the area where during Summer you can sit outside and listen to live music, or let the kids go ice skating during Winter while you sip on a drink.
