Staff were nice and helpful. Laid back atmosphere. Rated the food low because we didn’t see anything food-related in the establishment. The axes were fun.

We had soo much fun. The staff was exceptional. Our Coach was Josh and he was very helpful in teaching the basics and even taught us a few trick shots. Great place for a Day Date ❤️

Something new to try if you have never thrown an axe. Good instruction when you arrive and then you get to throw. Order drinks and a few items like sliders or cheese curds. They also have adult drinks and happy hour specials.

We had a reservation for 4... A little confusion leading up to the event on when and how we would pay. Everyone did waivers online but they had trouble finding them. We were a little late getting started as they had a larger group already in progress. Drinks were tasty and creative but small and expensive. For 4 with food and drinks we spent about 65 a piece... Not something we can do regularly but fun

They assign a "coach" to each lane which was amazing to make sure you get the most out of your experience. If you are having trouble landing the ax they give you pointers. It was a little more pricey than expected but after the visit I understand why.

I had a great time at Blade & Timber in Leawood. It was my first time trying axe throwing and I was pleasantly surprised by how fun and easy it was. The staff was super friendly and helpful, they taught me the basics and gave me some tips to improve my throws. The place was very clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere was lively and upbeat. They also had a full bar and a nice selection of snacks to enjoy while throwing axes. The only downside was that it seemed a little overpriced for the experience. I paid $35, which felt a bit steep for something that didn't require much equipment or skill. I think it would be more reasonable to charge $15 or $20 per hour, or offer some discounts or deals for groups or repeat customers. Overall, I had a fun at Blade & Timber and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and exciting activity.
