Hereford House - Leawood

Made it to the Leawood location before it closed. We have dined there since the "incident" and so sorry to see it closing. Food and service were excellent, as always. Hope there will be a grand reopening!!

Our server was Abbey. She was extraordinary.... personable, gave us great recommendations, and took wonderful care of us. We had the dinner for two and each course was outstanding. The salad was huge and tasty, the appetizer was really good, the steaks were prepared perfectly, and we topped it all off with cheesecake. We are aware of the recent issue at Hereford House and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt based on some reviews we recently read. We are so glad we gave them a try and we can only hope that others do the same. This is a restaurant we should support. We told Abbey we will be back sooner than later!!!!

We were having dinner after a daylong business meeting. We finished early and HH had no issue when we asked to move up our reservation an hour. The service was great and the food is always delicious. The private dining room made the night even better!

Absolutely delicious meal at a reasonable price. The decor and amp were on brand. My partner and I have been to several of the restaurants in that area, and Hereford House is the best thing around at that price point. BONUS: AMC 20 is right next door, so you can do dinner and a movie without leaving the shopping center.

The service was impeccable and the food delicious. Hereford House in Leawood has weathered a most unfortunate nasty blow through no fault of their own. I am hoping they survive it. They immediately took measures to remedy the situation at great expense and loss. Now they are likely the cleanest and most well monitored restaurant in metropolitan Kansas City. I would love to see Kansas City patrons step up and support Hereford House.

Had a great time at the Hereford house restaurant in Leewood! The service we received from Kelly our server was above & beyond! Appetizers, main course, & desert that we took home was amazing. We have never been disappointed at the  Hereford house

They UNKNOWINGLY!!!!!!..UNKNOWINGLY!!!! hired a... community hating, extremely left wing activist!!! for the kitchen. To try and help out young man, ( whom lied about his background) out with a job. As it turns out was an ...bad person!! ,that committed unspeakable acts in the kitchen. This individual went from state to state doing the same thing!!. The HEREFORD HOUSE IS AN ABSOLUTE!!!! FINE PLACE TO EAT !!..PRIOR & TO THIS DAY AN ABSOLUTE WONDERFUL PLACE TO DINE!!!! THE KITCHEN HAS BEEN TOTALY CLEANSED!!! PLEASE ,PLEASE PATRON THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!.. A bad actor did some bad things unbeknownst to them.It is a fantastic place to eat.
Please go!!!... And FYI I do not know anyone that works there!!!! Or personally know anyone that is involved with the restaurant or works there.As an employee I am unbiased i'm just telling you the truth!!This is a extremely honest Review of a very fun establishment!!!! Prime Rib is the best in town. Sevice is great. Don't let bad publicity scare you away. Everything is very good and is the most sanitary kitchen in the metro Always a fan of Hereford House

This restaurant has been on a downhill slide for years, but after the disgusting, reprehensible actions of one of their lowlife employees and the fact that other employees stood by and watched without taking action… why would anyone eat at this establishment??

I like reading the reviews and laugh so hard when someone complains about the food being to "salty". especially now that we know what that salty flavor is.

Seated at 5:00, ordered by 5:20. Received our dinner at 6:45 and it wasn't hot, yet still overcooked. We frequently dine at HH and have never had these issues. So disappointing when we were celebrating Mother's Day. They did comp us $20 per mother (3).

1. Wait staff gal a bit slow to get timely service and prompt attention during meal for this level of restaurant. Very polite. So no issue there. Table Attentiveness is a middle score for Nicole S. 2. Greeters (all mature ladies) at front door & hostess seating all a VERY positive EXPERIENCE on Mother's Day. Made an impression on me. Even as we left. These gals knew how to express appreciation to customers. THANK YOU!! 3. Appreciate the delish desserts on MOTHERS DAY

Busy Mother's day, so perhaps that contributed to the mediocre service? We did have reservations, yet seated in a less than favorable location. Steak was excellent, baked potato on the warmish side and undercooked asparagus.

Reservations were available a couple of days before Mother's Day. We arrived on time and were seated immediately. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. My wife had the grilled chicken Caesar salad and I had the grilled meatloaf. Both were excellent. I had sides of garlic butter green beans and broccoli; both were cooked perfectly. We took the Mother's Day carrot cake to go. With soft drinks and a generous tip we were out the door for < $70.
