The problem is if you want to go to Happy Hour and want to sit with a group more than 4 you can't. No Happy hour in dining section only the bar area. We had to split up. The food and the staff were really good. It was just inconvenient to split up.

Just ate here and the food was good, well, what part of my meal I got.I ordered the rib eye steak, green beans, and mac and cheese but never got the mac n cheese because I was given mashed potatoes instead. I told my server, Luk, about the mix up and he reluctantly told me he’d get me mac n cheese, but never did nor was he apologetic. So, I basically only got one of my sides. Like oil and water, arrogance and “Server” don’t mix.

Valentine's celebration. Ordered of the special menu. Plenty of food, order came out perfect. Was seated next to a partitioned wall that would move if barely touched. I know there were people sitting on the other side so it made it challenging.

Disappointed. We came here on Valentines day, at 7:15, we had a reservation. We were seated just after another couple who was sitting right next to us. They had their entire meal, got their check and left, and then another couple was seated in their place. We did not get our food for an hour and 15 minutes. The new couple got their food at the same time as we did.There was no compensation, discount, or anything… I’m fine waiting a little extra, but an hr 15….The one star for service was not for our waitress, she was fine. It was for having to wait so long and not being told that the food was slow right away. If I knew we would have to wait that long on our reservation, we would’ve just left. I don’t leave reviews, but man… be weary of holidays..

We were so disappointed as the menu was limited with Valentine's Day still being offered and the regular menu (ie, meatloaf, beef tips, etc) not offered. Our server, Luke, was not what we had experienced at the Hereford house in the past. He was not attentive nor friendly in any way. We will not be back anytime soon.

I had reservations for 8:30 and was seated within 15 minutes, which I thought was great we waited for an . Hour for our food, which we understood because it was Valentine's Day . We ordered the Pirck Chops, the 1st one was great, the second one wasn't done. We also ordered the KC Strip, medium well, with a little pink, it came out with a LOT of RED. We decided to take the food home and cook it a little longer. As we stood to leave my fiancé said I'm leaving mine, if I wanted to cook, I would have stayed home. I have my steak, but haven't tried putting it into the over as of yet
I made reservations for Valentine's Day a few weeks in advance through Open Table. They were super booked. The earliest I could get was 8 pm, so we settled for that. My wife had been wanting to try Hereford House again, as we had not been to one since October of 2007. Our server, Natalie, was very pleasant. She was quick to bring our drink orders and ask if we wanted another glass of wine. I ordered the HH KC Strip medium and the 1957 salad. The salad was all time. Delicous! My steak was cooked properly and I enjoyed it a great deal. The mashed potatoes were a little bland, as was the goat cheese jalapeño corn I ordered. Both were just bland and not too warm. My wife enjoyed her wedge salad, but her Herf & Surf didn't go so well. She ordered her 5-ounce filet medium rare. They brought this tiny little hockey puck. It was a 2-3 ounce medallion at best and well done and then some. We noted this to Natalie and she put in the order for a new steak. A manager stopped by the table, looked at the steak, and agreed that it was WAY past medium rare (or even medium well). Another entire plate was delivered for my wife. Complete with a new lobster tail, which she enjoyed. Her steak was again this tiny little thing. We eat 5-6 ounce filets and sirloin all the time, so we know what it should be size-wise. This was small. It was also medium instead of medium rare. All pink, no red at all. She decided to just eat it and be on our way. We sat on the edge of the dining room by the walkway near the private dining rooms and every 10 minutes or so, a busser would push or drag this super noisy cart over the tile floor, right behind our (and other's) table. It was so loud and very disruptive. Not conducive to a nice dinner, romance or quiet. We won't be back for Valentine's Day or any other day, but at least now we know. The food is not horrible. Just not great.

My steak, ordered medium rare, came well done. Wife's steak ordered medium well, came rare. Twice. We ate separate because they messed her food up 3 times. Also brought a potato covered in Sour Cream when NO Sour Cream was the order. Cost 33% more, ate separate, Not one mention of discounting. There were no employees at the counter on the way out. I stood there and held the door for 2 other couples. No one even to say thanks for coming. Great Valentine's.

we were there for over 90 mins with no appetizer or dessert. service was slow. waiter was forgetful. steak was good but too thin. seafood was dry and crisp around edges, even after soaking in butter. sides were mostly too salty. vegies were stringy. meal was overpriced for what was served. ambience was good, not too loud. only had to wait 10 mins with reservations. not a good overall experience, especially when trying to impress and treat someone like they deserve to be.

Waited over 2 hours after our order was taken to get our meals. The waiter said our order didn't go through when he put it in the computer. All the tables around us turned twice. The manager didn't even come by to check on us or acknowledge the problem.

Our filet was sent back twice to cook to medium-well. The first time they returned with a new filet which had considerable pink inside. The second time they returned (after about 20 minutes) but only the outside was cooked longer, the inside was still very much pink. The lack of execution and timing greatly impacted our experience. HH offered no discount on the bill. It was very disappointing especially considering the cost.
