Had a family birthday dinner at Houlihan's tonight-table of 10. The service was OUTSTANDING! Our server, Jeffrey, was awesome! He was attentive, kind, and stayed on top of everything. Our food was great, too. We ordered the cauliflower appetizer as well as the chicken/avocado egg rolls. DELICIOUS!! Everyone enjoyed their dinner too! We had an absolutely lovely time. Thanks, Houlihan's! We'll be back.

My and my girlfriend went to the Leawood location. We both ordered soup and salad (quick lunch right)? We got our soup and they picked up our dishes. We sat there for at least 20 minutes, maybe longer. Long enough that the table next to us got seated. Got their salad. Ate it. And was brought the check. First the waitress came to us and said I'm going to check on your soup and see what is taking so long. We said we already got our soup. She said oh yeah right. Maybe 5-10 minutes later our salad comes out. The waitress asked if we needed anything else. I said yes, we need to have something comped this took a long time and the table next to us got their food before us (which was a salad as well). No apology. She proceeded to explain why our salad took longer??? I had a chicken salad, and my girlfriend had a salmon salad. Longer maybe - 30+minutes? Unacceptable. By this time the manager came over. He wasn't overly helpful or concerned. I explained the scenario and said I also work in hospitality. He said he would take the salad off and also explained "why" our salad took a long time. I immediately asked for a box (because I could not eat the salad as I lost my appetite). If hospitality is not your specialty, you should not be a server.

The wait staff was not on their game while there. Seated two large parties in one part of restaurant and both of us had no service, even to grab waters to start till we asked. Also, alcoholic beverage served to a pregnant person when mocktail was requested. Then, a very long wait for food and waitress barely checked in on a night that was not very busy in the space compared to other times here.

The food was horrible. We ordered off of the Restaurant week menu and the main course was awful. The appetizer and dessert was great. Overall not good.

Ordered the three course special. Potatoes soup was cold. Sinc eai had taken a bite, they won't reheat it. The same happened with the salted Carmel gooey butter cake. It was also cold. They would not reheat it, so had to take it home and eat later. Sever never came back to refill drinks or asked if we wanted to order sometelse.
This is always a great place to dine. This time it was on New Year's Eve, with a reservation. The food is always delicious, always hot, and always consistent. The service is also very good at this Houlihan's, too. The staff were great even on this night when it was very busy. Everything I expected.

It was a relaxed lunch on Thanksgiving Day. The service was friendly and efficient, the food and atmosphere was great. We enjoyed it very much and will go back again.

We went here for a 70th birthday celebration. It was never mentioned or a birthday dessert offered. Waitress seemed annoyed all evening. Will not being going back to this particular restaurant. Was very disappointed

Top Value and top service Family of four looking to unwind from a cheer comp. This may have been the very best service and food that I have received in years. Personalized service- attention to details. Learning about your customers- treated with respect and kindness. The manager- I wish I got his name, gentlemen in a blue shirt. Honestly inspiring. Talking to customers/ talking to crew/ walking food. I am just blown away that anyone in the restaurant industry cares about people. He made a personal connection and did his best to make us feel special.
