Came for lunch with my work buds. Tried generals chicken, which came with hot and sour soup and a salad. The greens in my salad were super fresh and hot and sour soup is always delicious. Generals chicken always has a little spice whenever I've ordered before but this one had none, which was a little disappointing. It was still good though. There was also an extensive offering of sushi which I need to come back and try.

Everything is always so good and so fresh. Egg noodles and beef were cooked perfectly and the hubs raved about his nigiri and crazy monkey roll. We also had the fried lemon grass and chicken dumplings which were so flavorful!

We celebrated an 80th birthday out on the back patio. We had a large group of Koreans and the Korean food we ordered was spot on.

Good food and decent price. I visit this restaurant once a month. The wings are nice and crunchy. The jjampong and jjajangmyun are good, but sometimes a little bland. Friendly staff.

So my girlfriend and I decided to grab lunch at Ika Grill today, and let’s just say it was an…experience. We kicked things off with the chicken lettuce wrap, which looked like something my dog would sniff and walk away from. The ground chicken was so dry it could have been jerky in a past life, and the flavor? Well, it had none. Honestly, the plum sauce was the only thing that kept me from calling it quits right there. For the main event, we ordered the maki combo with a California roll and shrimp tempura roll. The sushi? Not bad, definitely edible, and the price was friendly enough that I didn’t feel ripped off. Would I rush back? Only if all the other sushi spots in the area closed down… permanently. But hey, I didn’t starve, so there’s that!

THEY HAVE THE HOT MUSTARD! As a long time fan of Red Snapper, Ika was everything brighter and better with the extended sushi menu, but I have felt so much loss for the hot mustard with the salmon rangoons. It’s been hard to be 100% in love, until now! When I have finally asked the question that’s been on my mind for years, and what do you know? They’ve got the sauce. Ika’s staff is also incredibly kind and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is easy going but elevated and clean. Can’t wait to come back for that hot mustard!

We came in as a large group for lunch. The staff were very friendly and put together tables for us. I was definitely happy with the service here. I thought the food was just okay. I’ve had better sushi at a lot of other places.

Lovely Japanese restaurant situated in a busy, easy access strip mall in Leawood. Enjoyed Spicy Edamame as an app and splt two suchi rolls with my D. Freshly made, they were delicous.
Service was great by Tyler and outdoor seatng was available. We will be back. :)

The shrimp Thai spring rolls were the bomb. They smoked salmon. Rangoon was an interesting fresh twist on an old favorite. We had several different Maki rolls which were all good. Edit: we've gone here every week. It's consistently great

Sunday all-day happy hour is great, but the HH menu is not exciting. The smoked salmon rangoons were unique and delicious. The general chaos chicken was bright and fresh. The spiced pear cocktail was very good. The happy hour sushi rolls were good, but kind of thrown together messily though. Everything came out very quickly by attentive servers. I would definitely return, but not necessarily to hit up the HH menu.
