Top tier BBQ in Prairie Village - who knew? Food is impeccable, interesting choices. Wait staff is extremely helpful. Weihenstephaner beer is on tap. Pretty much a perfect BBQ restaurant.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are well-accommodated - there are even cornhole games outside - it's nice to see families out there playing.

The staff was friendly and quick with the service, and never an empty glass. Would definitely return 9/10.

The best burnt ends in the Metro, bar none! I've been to EVERY smoke house in the area as I've grown up here. As well as almost all the BBQ food trucks. Meat Mitch is the best.

Parking: The staff was friendly and good at their job.

Ordered to go meal since I recently ate at the MCI location and it was pretty good. A friend warned me this location was inconsistent, and apparently we chose a bad night.

Service was ehhh. We paid for drinks but did not get them (which I assumed they were in the bag so I should have checked). I had a desert request from my kids that I forgot to order online so when I got there, I asked if it was possible to add it on. I was initially told they were cleaning up (I arrived two hours prior to close, so this wasn’t a total last minute thing), but then the kid behind the counter asked and was told it was fine. It was just weird to me that someone would potentially lose out on money two hours before closing for an item that does not require cooking.

We ordered 4 kids cheeseburgers that were supposed to come with fries and a drink. As mentioned, we did not get any drinks. My kids will eat literally anything (athletic boys) and they refused to eat more than a bite of their burgers. One claimed he bit into something hard in the meat and the other one spit his out because it “tasted weird”.

My husband got burnt ends and they were okay. I got the cheesy hog fries and it tasted like someone dumped a gram of salt on top. Completely inedible.

The best part was the apple caramel bread pudding. Highly recommend that but tonight was a total miss.

Enjoyed dinner at Meat Mitch BBQ with family from KC. The Black Angus Brisket and Smoked Turkey Avocado sandwiches were great. We had reservations and were able to be seated right away. Kids were entertained with their complementary coloring page and crayons while the adults talked and enjoyed microbrews and other drinks.

Kid-friendliness: Had 2 kids - 5 and 3 that were welcome and accommodated.

The BBQ was dry. Sauce on point. However Dry meat just rubs me the other way!

Great food and friendly staff!! Absolutely loved everything, the curly fries are the best 👌 my only complaint is the pulled pork wasn't "pulled", my first bite was a big chunk of pork and had to pull the pork apart myself before eating my meal. I'll definitely be back, maybe not for the same meal though 😕 🤷

I lived in the area for 40 years. Came back to visit and was told this place is the latest rage. Tried it. Awful. Possibly the worst BBQ I’ve ever had. Meat was dry and tasteless. Sides were terrible. Sauce made everything taste worse. If this is the great new place in KC you all have lost your minds. I’d rather eat a McRib. Not kidding.

Excellent service and delicious food.
It seems staff has been well trained and knowledgeable about cross contamination issues and other things regarding successfully navigating allergy issues and dietary requirements. I feel safe taking my gfcf family members here.

Best brisket in KC! The food and service were excellent. Our server (Max) was attentive and even a few managers visited our table to ask how everything was. This was my first time visiting Meat Mitch. Can’t wait to go back!
